Even though I did not purchase my original 2013 Honda at this location, I did use their service center for repairs. Found service team very helpful (Scott) and when trading in this vehicle for a 2022 Honda, this location, I did use their service center for repairs. Found service team very helpful (Scott) and when trading in this vehicle for a 2022 Honda, I found salesman phenomenal (Morgan). More

Herb Chambers Honda is a fantastic company their employees are amazing they don’t pressure you like other dealers they all are extremely educated in the vehicles they sell.. After owning a Honda Pilot for upwards of 12 years and 160k miles, I was faced with the challenge of buying a new car after it was totaled by a distracted driver. I knew I wanted another Honda but the tho 160k miles, I was faced with the challenge of buying a new car after it was totaled by a distracted driver. I knew I wanted another Honda but the thought of shopping a dealership was daunting, to say the least. First impressions really do have a huge impact!! My son and I were browsing the Herb Chambers lot on a late Saturday afternoon, at closing time. We were trying to price the used and new SUVs. Morgan Helme, a sales associate, came walking up. We immediately liked him. He was professional and personable, really down-to-earth, not at all pushy, knowledgeable and seemed pretty honest. I didn’t ask for specifics or financing options, just wanted general information. We were short on time and the dealership was closing. But Morgan patiently listened, answered our questions and offered his card. Didn’t push for an appointment. Didn’t hound me for an my information. Which was a big win for Morgan in my eyes. I wasn’t quite ready. In the week to follow, I test drove a used Honda at another Honda dealership. The salesperson literally handed me the key and said to return it to his desk! Which I did. And walked out. Then I got brushed off by the dealership of a “friend” (“sorry, we have no CRVs”). I thought, I am calling up Morgan right now and telling him I am ready to buy! He and his GM did not disappoint! I cannot say enough about my experience at Herb Chambers Seekonk and Sales Associate Morgan Helme. After my 30-year banking career where customer sales and service were my constant focus, i feel qualified to give Morgan, GM Scott Birtles, the Finance Associate, and the dealership a Five-Star Rating, Their consistent, superior professionalism, product knowledge, attitude and listening skills, follow-through, variety of choices (cars and financing) absence of pressure (which clients hate); speed of delivery and flawless closing of the deal earns them that rating. Morgan delivered a thorough explanation of the mechanisms inside and outside the car, all the bells and whistles as they pertained to me, options for accessories, warranties, and did it all again when I picked up my car. And we had fun in the process! He even set up my Apple phone/bluetooth. He followed up with texts on expected delivery, arrival of my title from the registry and even shot off a couple of wellness checks to see if I had any issues. Morgan knew his stuff top to bottom, and listened well enough to my quirks to know when features would apply to me ( ie: I tend to lock my keys in the car and run out of gas!). He made it his business to make sure I had all my questions answered and that I was happy with my choice. A word about the General Manager Scott Birtles. I believe that for a business to receive the highest customer satisfaction ratings, It all starts at the top. A true leader makes sure employees are engaged, motivated and supported. There needs to be positive energy, and a team spirit absent of cut-throat, all-for-one sales tactics. Sales has to partner with finance, with service, with parts, with management etc., for the team to be successful. This dealership has a positive vibe about it, at least from my perspective. Busy as he is, Scott promised to oversee my process when it came to choosing used vs new, lease vs loan, and presented scenarios to meet my income parameters. Never did I feel any pressure from Scott or Morgan, but I also felt like I could trust them to make the best decision for me. Not many people can say they had a great time buying a car, and mean they had a great time interacting with the folks that made it happen! I will absolutely refer business to Morgan and Herb Chambers Seekonk. More
