I live 5 minutes from Memphis, TN. ..My son found this 2021 Mazda Miata in Burleson, TX he loved. If we wanted this car, we'd fly to get it and drive it back. I called the dealership, ..My son found this 2021 Mazda Miata in Burleson, TX he loved. If we wanted this car, we'd fly to get it and drive it back. I called the dealership, spoke to a manager by accident (Neal, who's a peach) and he paired me with Victoria (definitely NOT a peach) for info, photos, communication (lack of) from Victoria the first conversation I had with her I let her know this would be the easiest sale for her if everything panned out, video and photo wise. I asked for a video repeatedly, finally received one I couldn't open, then she sent a super quick 50 video with CC through the picture you're looking at. 🙄 I sent her my license, my info, my son's info, all the things immediately and anything I asked for (when I had to call amd leave a message and wait and wait f her to call back) were put off. This irritated me to begin with but my son wanted this car so here we were. She kept telling me oh its in the shop getting all checked out, detailed, etc etc reasons she couldn't get pics, video (slowed down). I would have to call or text Neal to get her to call me. Kept seeing this car on cars.com and other sites when she knew we were buying it. Went as far to get our air itineraries AND STILL kept it online. .EVERYONE knew what day/ time we were coming. June 14. We landed at 11 at DFW and they didn't offer to pick us up, so we Ubered to the dealership and was there at 1230pm. They KNEW we had to drive 12 hours back to Memphis. I had spoken to Victoria, made SURE the car would be ready to go asked her to put her hands on it and make sure all is ready....we get there, Victoria is not there. Enter Morgan Hanson. She shows us the car (parked on the side, not the front if they were expecting us) and we go drive it and look at it in the shade bc there were back dots ALL OVER IT . Morgan explained that's part of the paint job. No maam, it's not. We discover it's overspray and a TON of it. Like are you freaking kidding me? They say after almost 2 hours well we can get it off the detailer said they can clay bar it. Okay well YES why wasn't this already xxxx done?? (In my mind I said this) 2 hours later (4 hours at this dealership when they KNEW we were coming), they bring it back out, overspray is gone, just time to sign things. Which again took FOREVER to even get in the office. I was paying cash, didn't need anything extra we were already 5.5 hours later than we needed to be and no one apologized for our inconvenience, offered to help with a hotel, dinner anything. So now we're o the road. Sometime between that dealership and West Memphis, AR, our final stop f gas, the tow hook cover came off. A piece neither Brock or I knew existed. There's no button inside to engage it, it gets taken off in the event of needed towed?? The Mazda dealer here in Memphis said if someone had taken it off and not clipped it back properly it definitely could blow off. Another problem I discussed with Norcross is the dampness in the trunk. I asked Victoria was it wet at all? She said no, it was obviously inside during a storm they had before we came, but when we got back to Memphis where it rains off and on, the trunk does get damp. Not wet, but it's definitely not sealed properly. Today 8-30-2024, I called and spoke to Morgan, who delivered the car, you know the one who told me the black specks all over the car were part of the paint job, and told her about the tow hook cover, how upset with this whole process from beginning until after seeing that gone, that I had not responded to her June 18 message about how we got home (4 days later) so I could gather myself, contact local Mazda dealer, my attorney, and get my thoughts right with the Lord so i didn't offend her or lose my crap. We spoke this morning and she SPECIFICALLY said she'd call me back after speaking to Neal, but Victoria called me even though she wasn't there when we picked up the car. Nope. Don't call me girlie. Waiting on Neal... More
