I am identified as a Total and Permanently disabled veteran by the VA due to service-connected mental and physical disabilities. Due to my PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and Adjustment disorder, I was disc veteran by the VA due to service-connected mental and physical disabilities. Due to my PTSD, Depression, Anxiety, and Adjustment disorder, I was discriminated against, deceived, and humiliated by this car dealership. Me and my dad went into the dealership on July 31, 2023, looking for the Toyota Tacoma 2023 truck that previous sales representatives had advertised to us. After several hours of talking with the sales representative, we agreed on the truck and its trade-in value. The contract was signed and completed at the dealership on July 31, 2023. We were told to come pick up the truck tomorrow, as they had to go pick it up from San Diego. On August 1, 2023, we went into the dealership at 4:30 p.m. after the sales representative delayed the appointment time twice. When we arrived, they notified us that the truck was in the dealership being washed right now. In the meantime, me and my dad were directed to a different financial representative from yesterday. He started to shove the papers at us, saying we had to sign some documents again. We realized the price of the payment was higher than the signed contract from yesterday. I asked them what this extra charge was, and they couldn't explain. They left the office for a while and came back in, and they explained to us that they were going to charge us more because they were giving us a better truck. I was confused and asked them where the truck we signed the contract for yesterday was, and the sales representative told us that the truck we agreed upon got into an accident while in transit, so they replaced it with a more expensive truck. I started to complain about why they didn't disclose any of this information to us about the higher payment and replacement of our truck before demanding that we sign. They were being passive-aggressive during this whole conversation. Telling us we can just take the new truck or leave with nothing. Even though the contract was already completed yesterday. Me and my dad asked for proof of the accident with our originally contracted truck. They said they didn't have any. We requested to talk to the manager, and after a long wait, a person who claimed to be the “General Manager” came into the office (we found out that he was actually the sales manager later on). The manager told us he would give us a $1000 discount on this more expensive truck. We told the manager we didn’t want the discount for the truck we never wanted. Instead, we want an explanation of why they lied to us that our truck had arrived and tried to make us sign a new contract without any explanation of a replacement truck and higher payment. The manager later told us our original truck was actually available. We asked him why they deceived us, saying that the truck got into an accident and that it was no longer available. He couldn't give a clear answer and told us we had two options to choose from: take the new truck or void the whole contract. We left the office because they were being passive-aggressive, disrespectful, and deceiving me and my dad. After we left the office, we were able to talk to the actual general manager in his office. He told us he knew nothing of this incident and that he would come back to find out what had happened. During the whole conversation, he was cutting my sentences over and over and telling me to calm down, even after I told him about my disabilities causing speech impairment. I was told that disability is a personal matter in my life and comes from my personal issues. We again asked for proof of an accident from the general manager, which he said he would provide us. He left the room to get proof of the accident but came in with a phone call with the sales representative instead. He said that the sales representative would explain what had happened to our original truck on speaker, which I asked to record and to which he consented. The person started to tell a whole new story about how our orig More

They took advantage of me. 3 times I went and the car wasn't there. I was looking to trade mine in ( 2017) and get one they were advertising about where I would only owe 2000 3 times I went and the car wasn't there. I was looking to trade mine in ( 2017) and get one they were advertising about where I would only owe 2000 and I'd just pay the diffrence. The third time I went I was conned into a car note I'm a retiree fixed income. So they had me go back and insulted me with a car that was a piece of crap to trade back. I told them I was about to have open heart surgery and they still took advantage of a senior citizen. Now I'm stressing everyday about either becoming homeless or loosing this car. Good work. I will never ever go to them again. I was fine with my chevy. More
