One of the worst experiences I have ever had ,being a car enthusiast and having owned several cars purchasing at least 3 per year.This past week my son and I drove 3 hours to go purchase a McLaren, we checke enthusiast and having owned several cars purchasing at least 3 per year.This past week my son and I drove 3 hours to go purchase a McLaren, we checked one out at another dealership a 600 LT drove it and felt that it may have issues as it was not idling correctly even though it had very low miles and a very respectable dealershipand they were willing to provide a fidelity warranty. We saw one on line at Earth motorcars so decided to go there to check that 600LT out. We walked in and for about 30 mins or longer we stood there waiting for someone to ask us if we needed any help,I saw employees walking back and forth like we did not exist. So I went up to this chap Mitchelle and said we needed some help with a car we would like to buy........he asked us which one we told him the 600LT and he said it was already sold. Then we asked him if we could see the GT Mclaren that was there and he said yes .We looked at it liked the appearance of it and asked if we could take it for a test drive, his response "No not until we talk numbers!!" then I asked if we could at least hear what it sounded like and he said " I suppose so!" at this point my 11 year old son said "Dad how are we supposed to buy a car or talk numbers if we dont know how the car drives and if we would like it or not!" We asked if we could look around and just at that time they backed a Hellcat wide body into the bay.The car was beautiful and my son and I were admiring the color and spec.This wonderful gentleman who had backed the car JESSE ANKU was so nice and said "come look at it ,its a super nice spec" and told us it had just come in with super low miles.Up until this minute not a single person upfront was helpful. Now our salesman Mitchelle figured we were actually there to buy a car and started showing interest ,I told him what I wanted to pay for it and that I would pay in full and leave with the car that same day......did not happen smoothly as expected the way things started off ,the manager that day was being extremely difficult to deal with ,you would think okay we are close we meet him in between and close the deal right?"nope did not happen you can take it or leave it was their attitude. I am Asian American and at this point I was really feeling uncomfortable, so we decided to leave and since we had a 3 hour drive back we stopped to use the rest room before we left.I saw Mitchelle again and said "Im surprised you wont even offer to meet me halfway from where you and I are guess you are not interested in this sale " and he said "I will go ask again" mind you I had to take the effort to make this happen, finally he came and he said "we have a deal" I certainly felt uncomfortable the way I was treated there and did not like that my son had to experience that!, Also I had just sold my Porsche to another dealership nearby and they said that I had a tax credit for upto a year if I purchased a car from them but if it was at another dealership then it would require some paperwork and fees but still doable and they would be happy to assist. I asked their finance manager if he could help me out as it would save me a substantial amount on taxes ......the answer was .....you guessed it ,NO,he said the other dealership did not know what they were talking about and it was not possible I looked up the owner of Earth Motor cars Frank Cortese,I hope he reads this and does something .Frank you have really cool cars but some of your employees SUCK! You can thank Jesse Anku from service that I bought this car from you for the kindness he showed us, NO ONE ELSE and he should get the commission for this sale Oh btw the next day when I came to pick up my car that I had left behind to drive the new one home ,I was offered a test drive on the McLaren and Mitchelle did apologize the way he acted because after i paid for the car I told their finance manager I was NEVER coming back More
