I am writing to formally express my profound dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at Jim Ellis Kia of Kennesaw. I brought my vehicle in with the expectation of receiving honest, prof dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had at Jim Ellis Kia of Kennesaw. I brought my vehicle in with the expectation of receiving honest, professional service, but instead, I encountered what appeared to be blatant attempts to upsell unnecessary repairs. From the start, I felt that the assessment of my vehicle’s condition was excessively detailed for the minor issue I initially reported. I was told about multiple supposed “critical” issues that, according to the dealership, needed urgent attention. These claims were concerning, particularly given that my car had been thoroughly inspected just weeks prior by a certified mechanic, with no mention of these alleged issues. Further, when I consulted an independent mechanic after my visit to your dealership, they confirmed that none of the extra repairs your team recommended were required. This is not only disappointing but raises serious concerns about the ethics and practices of your service department. Attempting to capitalize on a customer’s lack of technical knowledge by fabricating or exaggerating issues is dishonest, unprofessional, and detrimental to your dealership’s reputation. This experience has left me with a clear lack of trust in Jim Ellis Kia of Kennesaw. I strongly urge you to review this matter internally, as behavior like this reflects poorly on your business and can lead to a loss of customers and community trust. I also expect full transparency in any follow-up communications. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
