This is my reply to Kelly Chevy after I realized I was operating with incorrect information provided by Kelly Chevrolet. They gave me a car fax almost identical to the car I bought right down to the milea operating with incorrect information provided by Kelly Chevrolet. They gave me a car fax almost identical to the car I bought right down to the mileage but all the info was wrong. so here is my reply to them after this discovery. " I covered most of this with Mike. The issue with the key fob, and the alignment were because your closer or what ever you call the guy who does all the paper work gave me the wrong Car Fax and thats on him. It was for an almost identical car mileage etc all the same. So I spent $40.00 and got my own car fax with the correct vin number. Now my issues are still the chips in the wheel, the grease left on the wheels, the tire pressure sensors, and the lug nut torque. One other thing is the car has never had an oil change at a dealer. So if it was changed it was done somewhere else but the guy that owned the car was a Kelly employee so why not change the oil there? I am learning more about this car a days go by but my first issue now is getting the oil changed. I will be calling tomorrow to try and arrange that." I bought a used car with 10000 miles on it. At 8700 miles they checked the alignment and again at or about 9000 miles check alignment again wonder why? I realize I said "checked" not fixed. I bought the car drove it into their garage and was told the alignment was bad and I needed a 4 wheel alignment. If the knew it was bad why wasn't it fixed before the sale? I had to buy 4 new tires to the tune of $2000. I asked the service advisor about the pressure sensors he said the were good for ten years. The RR sensor quit working. after the new tires were installed and the left rear wheel was chipped in 2 places from the installation, plus the wheels and tires were smeared with grease I assume from the installation process and to hide the chips, I guess they were out of rags. . The lug nuts on the wheels are supposed to be torqued to 100 ft. lbs. They managed to get them to 80. The D.I.C. is telling me I have key fob #2 and #3. I asked where #1 is but no call back last week nor again today. I want the tire pressure sensors replaced but I don't need anymore wheel damage so I am looking for another place to take the car. I know the car business is great right now but thats not a reason to mistreat customers especially when they are paying $68000 for a used car. More
