Mike the service manager listened and did a great job servicing our Tiguan. The other dealers in MD wanted to charge us for the warranty problem that was addressed at no charge to us by Stohlman VW. This employee is exceedingly rude and lacks any basic social skills necessary to perform the job of a manager. I have dealt with him several times, and while I love every other thing about this location, social skills necessary to perform the job of a manager. I have dealt with him several times, and while I love every other thing about this location, I will be taking my car elsewhere for service in the future strictly due to this employees conduct. I have dealt with him multiple times and he talks down to customers, is unaccommodating, and seems to have zero concept of customer service. If this is how he treats all customers, I hope this location works with him to learn proper business conduct. More

Took my car in for repair. Two things were not working air and wiper motor. At first, they wanted to charge me $194 TWICE to look at each problem. The wiper motor was loud and slow, so there was no reason to charge me for that assessment, so I told them just to diagnose the air. He called me back with a $3600 quote. They apparently decided to check the whole car, additionally finding an “oil leak in the vacuum system.” I told him I had not seen any oil on my driveway and he said it was all internal. He said they would not even sell a car with those problems and that VW would buy it for $500 and then scrap it. I told him I was going to pick the car up. When my daughter went to pick the car up it would not start, the battery was dead; there had been no problems with the battery. She told them about the problem and they said the alternator was broken and they would need to fix it before she could drive it home. Apparently the car not starting was a small fact not noticed during the in depth diagnosis. They were then rude when the tow truck came and refused to help her move the car out of the garage. In fact the tow truck driver had to tell them, a couple of times, to move as they were standing in front of the car as as he was punching the car by himself. WE BOUGHT OUR CAR AT STOLMANS AND USED THEY SELL FOR 8-11 THOUSAND DOLLARS. When it arrived at a local garage I told him what happened and the quote and he asked if they offered to buy it for $500!! THERE WAS NO OIL LEAK. I have never felt more scammed in my life. If you have an existing warranty certainly take your car to them as there is little motivation for them to scam you. But if your car is out of warranty take your car at your own risk, buyer beware! More

We have purchased six cars from Stohlman Automotive VW and the most recent was another example of a professional team running Stohlman VW. We had Mohamed Hassan provide the sales support and he was fantas and the most recent was another example of a professional team running Stohlman VW. We had Mohamed Hassan provide the sales support and he was fantastic. He provided important details about the vehicle as well as handling the trade-in. We return to Stohlman VW primarily because the service is amazing and we want to recognize Mike Parelli's unfailing and exceptional performance as the Service Manager. He knows the cars, he has a great personality in dealing with all sorts of issues for the customers, and he is always patient with every question. There are many reasons Stohlman is a great choice for a car and these two individuals are two primary reasons. More

Set an appointment for a little service. Took our much loved Subaru in. Grabbed one of their bikes, just like I've heard advertised on the radio and rode the trail. Won back a lost customer Wow, extremely good customer service. I came in for an oil change and it took way longer than expected. I was not pleased at all and rather upset at the time. Even though I came here in the past for services, I was so displeased that I vowed never to come here again. Then today I got a phone call from Stohlmans saying they were sorry it took so long and offered me a full refund. I have never experienced a company that would do that before! Thanks for looking after your customers Stohlman. To me, this lets me know that they do in fact care about their customer and must have just had some kind of rare delay that day. I will come back again and appreciate the extra effort to keep customers happy. Very pleased with this dealership! More

Customer loyalty is no accident, it's cultivated regularly I leased my first car from Javan back in 2013 and subsequently had two trade-ins since then and I haven't looked back or considered another rep since. Javan is someone who takes time with you and makes you priority (and you feel that way), he isn't trying to push a quota or a "big sale" and instead listens to what you want and makes recommendations from there; you can tell he's an advocate for the customer--which is key--and that's his focus. Now, I'm a creature of convenience and there's a VW dealer about two minutes from my house, but because of the top-notch customer service and the one-on-one care and attention I receive, I make the 30 minute drive because they've earned my loyalty and I like how I'm treated when I'm there and that I'm checked in on between appointments. Whether it's Mike Parelli fitting me in for a service appointment at the last minute or Javan Jackson taking my call at 10 PM at night a few days before Christmas because my car was stolen, the team at Stohlman automotive go above and beyond the call of duty 24/7. I encourage you stop in for a visit and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll be a "lifer." and trust me, you won't be disappointed. More
