This is regarding my purchase of a 2016 Q50. I just replaced all 4 wheels on the car as there was corrosion on all 4 rims. I initially thought that I had a puncture in the tire, however Discount Tire in Ft Myers noted that the reason one tire kept going flat was because of corrosion. One wheel was worse than the rest. I am completely disappointed that you won't stand by the 12k miles or 12 months guarantee that is on their RO. Just because Mike said there was nothing noticeable at the time of the original inspection from when the car was traded in. So, the problem is clear now and I am within the 12k and 12-month warranty, so I don't understand why you won't stand behind your work. Corrosion doesn't just happen in 6 months. This builds overtime. Service should have covered it because they didn't do a thorough enough inspection back in October. I will be calling in to speak with one of the owners. I have been in the car business for over 5 years, and I know this just is not right. I paid full asking price, spent $3,600 on warranties and the vehicle only had 39k miles on it when it was purchased. The last 8 of the VIN are GM303919. I knew when I purchased the car that the tires would need to be replaced soon, yet didn't make an issue out of it. I have paid for all new tires and have now gone into debt further to replace the wheels. Over $800 for them. Because the rims were bad the car was out of alignment. I went through the original RO and did find it odd that no alignment had been made. I'm not a person who goes nuts and creates a scene in the dealership. Your company's lack of attention has really destroyed my initial satisfaction with your dealership. I have been recommending it to you and now I will tell folks that you don't stand behind your work. After disliking my review Brian called me and said that I gave to Mike was wrong. I called at 9 am trying to resolve my problem. I called 3 more times prior to leaving my review. He would only tell me that their work was good and that he couldn't do anything. Brian said I never gave them the chance before I left my review 2.5 hours later. Yes, he had the opportunity to offer assistance to me and never did. Brian is a smug and arrogant person. He started to suggest things, however Mike never did. The great guys at Discount Tire in Ft Myers showed us the corrosion on all 4 rims. They tried numerous things to fix the rims, but to no avail. MIKE NEVER OFFERED A TOW TO NAPLES. I HAD to get new rims. Brian acted like I had time to waste. I didn't. Dealers jack up the price of rims and tires. I initially thought I only needed tires. Once we saw the damage, the car was undriveable. Again, I was told their repair work didn't apply. Brian implied that this was my fault for buying a 9 year old car. It has less than 50k miles so, basically, he doesn't believe in his brand, and the car was a CPO. More
