Bought a collector car over the phone I have been searching for a 1996 Impala SS on and off for almost 3 years to replace one destroyed in a head on collision by a reckless driver. My previous SS was in excellent condition both visually and mechanically, so my standards for replacement were pretty high. Unfortunately, most of these cars that are offered for sale are either quite non-original, heavily modified, very worn, and / or overpriced. I had pretty much given up finding one when my dad discovered the one offered by Springs Automotive on cars.com. When I called Springs Automotive, Avery Harrison answered the phone and was very helpful and willing in answering all my questions about the car offered and providing fresh photos of everything that I wanted to see. Within a few days, my gut was telling me that this may be the car that I had been looking for and we negotiated a price and I provided a down payment over the phone, something I had never done before for such a large purchase. While the deposit wasn't a binding agreement to purchase the car for sure, I was pretty confident that I would be leaving Colorado Springs and driving it back to Phoenix the next weekend. I flew into Colorado Springs on a Friday, and on Saturday Avery picked me up at my hotel and took me to the dealership where I saw the car for the first time in person. I was able to look it completely over and take it on an extended test drive. Surprisingly, or maybe unsurprisingly, everything was as it was described and shown to me via photos beforehand. I would highly recommend anyone to deal with Springs Automotive Group based on my experience. Avery Harrison was a pleasure to deal with and an all around great guy. More
