I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, with a brief 5 years that I spent living in Southern California in the early 90's. After returning to South Dakota, I spent about 6 years with Gateway Computers until shifting my sales experience to the auto industry. I have now spent 15+ years at Frankman Motor Company with a dedication to make sure my customers leave happy with the vehicle they purchased, don't feel afraid to ask questions, and were comfortable with the entire car buying process. We purchased our Land Rover over 4 weeks ago and still don’t have it. We have not heard from Frankman for 2 weeks on the status. We were told when we purchased it it would be a week before we could pick i don’t have it. We have not heard from Frankman for 2 weeks on the status. Frankmans was awful to work with and definitely took advantage of me. They sold me a car with many problems, and then tried to get me to pay out of pocket for repairs. In the 6 months I have owned my advantage of me. They sold me a car with many problems, and then tried to get me to pay out of pocket for repairs. In the 6 months I have owned my Ford Explorer, I have had to take it to service 6 times. I finally took the car to MY mechanic, where they told me the people at the dealership where taking advantage of me. They also gave me a list of things that were STILL needing repairs. After speaking with sales and service managers, I was able to get my vehicle completely fixed, but still paid $200+ out of pocket. Communicating with staff was very difficult, and everyone at service was rude, EXCEPT for Kyle. Kyle was very good at communicating and keeping me updated. Everyone else at service was very rude and off putting. The seemed to be always in a bad mood, and like coming into their shop was a bother. There was little to no friendliness, and they gave me a few loaners that seemed to be needing quite a bit of upkeep themselves. As for Mike, the salesman, he completely ghosted me once all paperwork was signed. He continued to dodge my calls and messages, to the point where I had to reach out to the sales manager. After such a hassle, I wish I would have gone elsewhere. More

I arrived at the dealership, test drove the vehicle, and then was told I wouldn’t be able to drive it home that day - even though I’d texted to make sure it would be ready and was told it would be (I’m 2 ho then was told I wouldn’t be able to drive it home that day - even though I’d texted to make sure it would be ready and was told it would be (I’m 2 hours away so it makes a difference). After waiting a little while, I was told they’d had me test drive the wrong vehicle and I could take the one I’d actually inquired about home. It was my fault not looking at the one I’d initially inquired about properly, but I trusted the dealership. I got home and noticed one of the cords to the back window was broken and there was a dent in the front hood. Also, I was very clear with the finance person that I was not interested in any add ons and he was pretty pushy, ended up taking me into something I immediately regretted. Lastly, I texted Mike stating I forgot to give him my extra fob and forgot to take my garage door opener from my trade. He promised he’d send it to me, but I have yet to see it. I wish I could say more positive things about Frankman, but I will not be back. More
