New "Home" found after a long trip! I had been looking for a particular car for several weeks, and had traveled MANY MILES to MANY dealership's only to find the car's I had seen on their I had been looking for a particular car for several weeks, and had traveled MANY MILES to MANY dealership's only to find the car's I had seen on their website, and was supposed to be there on the lot per a prior phone call were either NOT there, or didn't look close to what the picture's on their website looked like. Disappointing! Then I spotted the car I was looking for on Delaware Cadillac's website. I called and spoke to Bob Dominick. I first asked him if the car was ACTUALLY ON THE LOT! I told him of my prior experiences and he wasn't surprised. From there we had a very friendly and lite hearted conversation about it and he went outside, in the cold to check personally to make sure it was there. It was and I made an appointment to see it. I was unable to make the initial appointment due to a family emergency and called Bob to let him know. He was very kind and wished me well in dealing with my family matter and said just give him a call when it was convenient to me. I did just that and then when I arrived at the dealership I met Mike Cassidy. First and foremost of importance to me is the relationship I have with my sales representative / specialist. I have to have confidence in their knowledge of the product, and feel they have a true interest in getting to know me and understand what I'm looking for. And I can tell you that's hard to find in the automotive sales industry today. But, I found just that in Mike Cassidy! I felt a true connection as soon as I met him. Now, I had a bit of a strange trip to finally get to the correct vehicle that fit my needs but that was not Mike's fault. But Mike was with me every step of the way with great support and guidance. Because of his true honesty and interest in my every need and concern I feel I have found more then just a new "Home" dealership to look forward to dealing with in the future, and most definitely will recommend to family and friend's, but also a good salesman I can call a friend. Someone to help guide me and other's I refer through the sometimes stressful process of finding and purchasing a new or used vehicle. Also, a shout out to Toni Spille in service. Her friendly personality and true concern to get my service needs addressed in a timely fashion was greatly appreciated since I live 2 1/2 hours away. If you are looking for a dealership with personnel who really seem interested in you and your vehicle needs then this just could be your new "home" also! More

Fabulous 1st time experience I had researched the Cadillac XT5 on line and decided to go to Delaware Cadillac to further investigate. Mike Cassidy was my salesman and greeted me with open arms. He was so very knowledgeable, not only about the XT5, but all cars in general. I fell in love with the XT5 after a test drive and decided to make a deal. The "dealing process" was made comfortable not only working with Mike but Carl ,our sales manager, made this process easy and really stress free. Jen handled all the paper work and that too went very smooth. Mike, Carl and Jen all worked together to make buying my XT5 a fabulous experience. I feel very comfortable contacting any of these folks if I need anything pertaining to my XT5 in the future. Great dealership with very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Looking forward to dealing with the service department in the future! More

The team at Del Cadillac was very knowledgeable of the car and mad the entire daunting process of buying a car easy. Mike is the man to buy a car from... no offense to the other wonderful sales people here. Mike knew the car from wheel to headliner, which offered me reassurance that I would receive help if needed in the future. He shared very interesting personal stories with me that kept me entertained through the process. I went to another dealer at first but hated them and had to return to buy my car from him. The ATS-V that I purchased has been a delight to drive. Mike was not pushy nor was John the manager. I plan on buying another car next year or after and will most definitely return to these guys... Please don't leave guys! More

Really...a VW Cadillac I was was looking for a newer Beetle as a trade for my older 2002 which still ran great. It was a hard search to find something that drove like my turbo manual shift, newer for obvious reasons and affordable. Delaware Cadillac had just one and that one was enough. The car wasn't all frills but handled better than more expensive ones I had test drove. Mike Cassidy , a Beetle owner himself, was the right man for the job. We exchanged pro and con views of what I had and what I was missing. He took me on the most extensive test drove I ever was on....which ultimately sealed the deal. I wasn't prepared to deal THAT day but I (with the help of a good supporting crew) signed off on it no more than 3 hours later. Mike...thumbs UP for effort ! More
