Mickey was nice, but seemed like he just wanted to get me in and out and he was probably annoyed that I had asked to see my usual service manager. I'm not sure what's up with Zack the "tire specialist." He k in and out and he was probably annoyed that I had asked to see my usual service manager. I'm not sure what's up with Zack the "tire specialist." He kept insisting to me that I bought my tires second-hand after I told him I bought them brand new two years ago -he even reported that the date on the tires was 2023 and still insisted that I had bought them second-hand. Needless to say, my first stop after service was to my tire guy, who said that while he'd love to sell me a new set of tires, my tires were just fine, and not full of "dry rot," as reported by Zack. I get that you want to sell tires, but I feel like there's a better way to go about it than by implying either I'm cheap or that the tire service I use is ripping me off. The last time I went in for service, I was told my cabin air filter needed to be replaced when I literally put one in right before taking it in for service. This crap is why people don't trust dealership service departments. I have very low miles on my car, so if folks want to keep trying to upsell me on things I don't need, I'll be reconsidering servicing my car with you. This is why I always insist on seeing Maria (Zack informed me it was her day off, but he could recommend "the only other female" - it's not a male/female thing, it's a trust thing, and Maria has been handling my car for a few years now). This is the first time in a while I've felt uncomfortable. Not Mickey's fault, just a bad day to go in for service, I guess. More
