I was baited into coming down to look at a 2014 Chevy Silverado High Country throughout the week of 1/27/2025. I drove 2 and 1/2 hours from north of Milwaukee WI. Was told by several people including Mik Silverado High Country throughout the week of 1/27/2025. I drove 2 and 1/2 hours from north of Milwaukee WI. Was told by several people including Mike and Juanita Soto to schedule appointment on 1/31. Always that the car was available and they were ready to make a good deal due to it being end of month and managers were working to get a sale. Upon arrival, Mike was not at work, so I was given to another salesman. I was told that someone else had already wired money over to purchase the truck. That was the real bait. The manager Jake confronted me and said the person was ready to wire the remaining balance to purchase the truck, but the outstanding guy he was said he believes in first come first serve and was willing to sell me the vehicle. I test drove and asked to see it in the service garage for better lighting, which was fine. After looking at the truck closely, noticed paint bubbling by the two back doors on the rocker panels. This was not noted at any time. The manager sent a offer with the salesperson to completely low ball me on a trade in, with full price for the truck. I told them that was my ticket out of there. All said and done, I thought car dealers and managers more so we’re moving in the right direction, but obviously this dealership and it’s management bring the bad name legacy of the typical car sales people to overall rip you off. This will go out to every social media site available, and I hope this and I hope their reputation gets the bad name it deserves. More
