One was in NH, the other was Cityside. Both were winnowed from research done through Consumer Reports online "Build & Buy" program (highly recommend). Edmonds has a similar service which is also very good. Long story short, we never made it to NH and bought an Outback Premium within a half hour of arrival. The negotiations were relaxed and, more importantly, face to face with Rob Krasow and Aleksey. Michael and Nelson were also low key and helpful as initial, and then final, paperwork was completed. We had a trade in, and perhaps could have made more money on it, especially through a private sale, but to avoid the hassle of the latter and because Cityside's offer was justifiably fair (plus the equally fair price on the Outback itself), we felt it was an overall good deal for us. Pickup was uneventful, and Aleksey spent approximately an hour with us going over key sections of the various manuals, and in the car itself to highlight its principal features. Overall, it was as pleasant and uneventful a car purchase as one could hope for, and we would highly recommend Cityside. More

I was looking specifically at Subarus because I had heard what fantastic and reliable cars they were, and have had great experiences in friends' Subarus. I was looking specifically for a manual Subaru Forester with black interior. I found the model I wanted at MetroWest Subaru, however they were not a preferred dealer for my insurance company, so I wouldn't have been eligible for my insurance discount if I'd purchased there. Upon contacting CitySide Subaru, Michael Nelson was very responsive and accomodating to my needs - with a down payment to secure the vehicle, he offered to drive to MetroWest Subaru and pick up my preferred model for me and bring it back to CitySide Subaru for me to purchase that night! He and his team worked tirelessly to answer my family's questions and make the process go as smoothly as possible. He has also answered my service-related questions in an exceptionally timely manner.
