Extremely Poor Customer Service & Post-Sale Delays – Avoid for Out-of-State Buyers I recently had what is hands-down the worst car-buying experience of my life at Herb Chambers INFINITI of Westboroug Avoid for Out-of-State Buyers I recently had what is hands-down the worst car-buying experience of my life at Herb Chambers INFINITI of Westborough, specifically involving salesperson Michael Landry and manager Kevin Hosein. I found the vehicle online and, being from New York, reached out immediately to purchase it. For over 72 hours, I repeatedly begged for a callback so I could move forward with the sale. When I finally connected with Kevin Hosein, he explicitly told me that in-store customers were more important than web/out-of-state customers who were ready to buy immediately. This set the tone for the entire process. Frustrated with the lack of responsiveness, I requested a different salesperson. Kevin refused and kept Michael Landry as the point person. Despite this, I pushed forward, paid for the car in full two weeks ago, and signed all paperwork. Now, three weeks in, I still don’t have the car. I’ve been asking daily for an ETA from the third-party registration company handling the NY registration. Responses are vague, half-hearted, and mostly via text from Michael—who rarely replies promptly to follow-up questions. They only text; no one picks up the phone. They’ve used the Christmas Day DMV closure as an excuse, even though the NY DMV has been open since then. Additionally, they need to send me my old plates (for return to the DMV), but they can’t or won’t provide any update on their location or status. The only positive person in this ordeal has been Don Partridge in finance, who has been supportive and communicative—but unfortunately, he only handles that part of the process. I have never experienced such disregard, poor communication, and delays after payment at any dealership. If you’re considering buying from Herb Chambers INFINITI (especially out-of-state), think twice and shop elsewhere. This has been a nightmare. More
