I was told to go to a dealership and have them retrieve the code. That dealership told me if I had both fobs the vehicle would show me the code. I had to pay over 400$ for a new fob and code to the truck I thought I bought this from a dealership I guess I was mistaken

We have reviewed this transaction in detail. Our title clerk has confirmed multiple follow-ups with the tag office, including a supervisor, and was advised that all required paperwork was submitted correctly on our end. The only outstanding item identified was the tag transfer form, which has since been completed and provided to you. At no point during the transaction was it communicated that the tag would be transferred, which is necessary information for us to prepare the correct documentation at the time of sale.
Regarding the key fob concern, not all trade-in vehicles are received with two working fobs. In this case, only one was available at the time of sale. While this is sometimes unavoidable with used inventory, we have already made process improvements to address this moving forward, including new capability to provide a second key for future used-vehicle purchases when needed. Additionally, a reimbursement check has been issued and mailed to assist with the cost you incurred for obtaining a replacement key and programming.
We remain committed to transparency and continuous improvement in our processes, and we appreciate your business.

Nonsense. The dealer new darn well my prior truck was totaled in Mershon the previous day and I had ALL my paperwork work including my license plate with me when I came in Your finance person told me I had to make all the applications to the motor vehicle agency in Florida. Shortly after I call again and I was told for me to get the original title I had to contact the lender which I did. Your transfer was of no help as the finance company became an advocate for me in obtaining help in Florida to which I had to give power of attorney and that person went to the Florida tax assessors office And signed ALL those documents on my behalf.
On top of all this you sold me a vehicle with different locks 1-keyless entry. No access code. no second key necessary to retrieve the code from the truck. And the found that the tie downs in the bed were keyed and no keys were supplied those had to be duplicated in order for me to put in a bedliner. Your check while it will help very little will never compensate me for the hours I spent on the phone with Lee county. The finance company you the dealership here and the dealership that sold me the vehicle. The locksmith. The person in Florida the lawyer that help me with the power of attorney documents whom ALL required multiple calls do to the time constraints placed on me by your temporary tag. I clearly explained on my review you would try to clear yourselves but there are no excuses for this Nice try but no.
