Disappointing first experience with Klaben of Warren. This dealership had a recent trade in that was listed on their site but without pictures. I inquired about the truck and the salesman sent pictures v This dealership had a recent trade in that was listed on their site but without pictures. I inquired about the truck and the salesman sent pictures via text so I scheduled a test drive on Thursday evening. When I walked in, I asked a salesman for the salesman that I was communicating with and his response was “ Oh he quit” and smiled then proceeded to find my salesman. After the test drive, the salesman advised the vehicle needs inspected by their techs to ensure there wasn’t any major issues. He told me if any were discovered that it wouldn’t increase the price but the dealership would repair the issue. I asked when the inspection would be completed and he replied… hopefully Friday or Saturday. At this time, the dealership was closing so not wanting to keep them past store hours, I gave him my VIN # on my current vehicle so he could run numbers on a trade in then left. At this point It was my belief I would possibly purchase the truck pending any large repairs. I never heard from Klaben on Friday so I texted and called Saturday without an answer. My call was returned and to my disbelief.. I was told the vehicle had been sold on Friday. My immediate reaction was “how”? I was told another customer bypassed the inspection process and bought the truck as is. It felt like the rug was pulled out from underneath me as I was under the impression we were in early stages of negotiating and they were crunching numbers on my trade in. On Klaben’s site, there mission statement reads…. “ We strive to give you the experience you deserve. At our dealership, we make it our goal to provide our customers everything they need for a quality car buying experience “. In my opinion this couldn’t be farther from truth. My first experience with Klaben of Warren seemed dishonest and also seemed they practice unethical sales methods. I’m not sure if situations like mine happen often but it felt like I was screwed over and they had no respect for me and didn’t have any integrity. Not sure if this was the fault of the newer salesman that helped me with lack of communication with his co workers or this sales method that is coached by the sales manager or possibly the sales culture at this location. More

My family has been long time Klaben Crown Ford customers previously buying from Jim Valesky & Jerry Larabee. My wife and I haven't purchased a new car since 2015 and we began car shopping in mid May. We loo previously buying from Jim Valesky & Jerry Larabee. My wife and I haven't purchased a new car since 2015 and we began car shopping in mid May. We looked at Chevy, Kia, Nissian and more. We pulled into Klaben with low expectations after leaving a dealer down the road that was using high pressure sales tactics. Micheal was a present surprise and conducted himself both professionally & mature for his age. Klaben was offering a discount that others were not and we received what we felt was the overall best value we could receive. Ford credit was offering a low interest rate that retained our business because Chevy was at 6.75%. Overall this was a very plesant buying experience and our paperwork signing was only a 20 minute process. Very please and will continue to come back to Micheal & Klaben. He even made my wife feel very special by giving he a sticker we had liked about. Great experience! Thank you! More
