I bought a new 2026 suburban on a Tuesday, they offer this amazing referral program where they’ll pay your next car payment which is as well and good until you actually bring in someone to purchase anoth this amazing referral program where they’ll pay your next car payment which is as well and good until you actually bring in someone to purchase another car which i did only 2 days later, had the same salesman who was great his name is andrew, unfortunately i was unaware that while i was negotiating a deal for my mother in law i negotiated away my referral ? I only found out about this after i tried to lessen her down payment by $300. She is on a fixed income so every dollar counts, it was at this time they informed me my referral fee was already gone, would have been nice to know this up front instead of finding out after the fact it was already gone, this is the reason why people put dealerships in the category with lawyers because they’re always doing something shady, mind you this is coming from a former car salesman More
