Hello ,my name is Mel Horst.I have been selling cars for Conestoga Motors since 2000.My style of sales is more low key,no pressure,because that is the way I prefer to be treated.I enjoy getting to know people and helping them purchase a vehicle. I am married and we are blessed with 5 awesome children,and 9 awesome grand children.I am involved with and attend a local community church in Leola Pa. My hobbies consist of doing things with my wife,my children,and grand children. I also like to fish,and ride bike,go to car and truck shows.I can enjoy a good semi or tractor pull also. Fantastic experience. I am 83 years old and and have bought quite a few vehicles in my time. I have never had a better buying experience. I purchased a 2023 Chevy Traverse from Conestoga Motors in July 2024. Despite the higher mileage, it fit my price range, and I decided to take the risk. Being three hours away from Ephrata, PA, I knew this in July 2024. Despite the higher mileage, it fit my price range, and I decided to take the risk. Being three hours away from Ephrata, PA, I knew this would require trust and good communication. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, a major issue arose. While it was an unfortunate situation, it provided an opportunity to see how Conestoga Motors handles challenges. I contacted Mel and Jerry to inform them of the issue, and they responded with professionalism and integrity. They immediately took the necessary steps to address the problem under the warranty, ensuring the process was as smooth as possible. I purposely waited months to write this review to ensure the resolution was completed correctly—and I’m happy to report it absolutely was. When things go wrong, you learn a lot about people and businesses, and I discovered that Mel, Jerry, and the team at Conestoga Motors are genuine, honest, and committed to their customers. If you’re considering a purchase, I highly recommend buying confidently from Conestoga Motors. My experience proves they stand by their word and go above and beyond to make things right. Marc More
