He said yes, they are family owned and have a good reputation. Well the first business day after I bought the truck I returned to the dealer and notified the salesman of the first two items in the list below. The sales manager would only agree pay half the cost of the APIM ($650). Most of the items in the following list should have been easily known and repaired before the truck was sold. The brake issues should be safety issues. 1. The APIM computer module for the radio was bad and was a $1300 repair. 2. The serpentine belts were worn so bad they squeal and this is a $400 repair. I’ll do it myself. 3. The spare tire was flat and the lock to lower the tire was rusted solid. 4. The front brakes had a rusted caliper slide pin causing the brakes to pulse. 5. The rear brakes were at the minimum pad thickness of 3 mm. 6. They mounted my own wheels on the truck and 7 lug nuts were over torqued. I found this while fixing the brakes and had to use a breaker bar to loosen them. Fortunately, I can do the rest of these repairs. Make sure you get at least a 3 day guarantee in writing to repair or return the vehicle for safety or major issues. More
