I bought a car from their used lot a little over a month ago. It has been in the shop THREE times now, after I was repeatedly reassured when buying it that it was in great shape. They helped me with the fir ago. It has been in the shop THREE times now, after I was repeatedly reassured when buying it that it was in great shape. They helped me with the first fix issue, and told me they cut me a deal on the cost to fix the second problem (although it was still an expensive fix). I called to let them know the car broke down again, and the manager tells me I bought a cheap car and that it was my fault I did not budget for a warranty or maintenance. (Having your car serviced THREE times in ONE MONTH is not typical maintenance!!) I would not recommend buying a car from them unless you wanna spend half of what you pay for the car on a warranty or pay for an absurd amount of maintenance!! More

As with any used car purchase and especially German autos is the potential for expensive repairs. The key selling points for this BMW were: Low Miles 2 month/2000 mile warranty Gold Check Certified (in-depth inspection) and accompanying printout showing the dealer repairs/maintenance performed prior to putting car up for sale The printout showed Engine Service Light on at trade-in. Dealer stated there were 2 OBD codes replacing Fuel Filler Cap and Purge Valve. Now for the bad. While driving the car home the day of purchase the Engine Service Light comes on! I call Vorderman and get transferred to service. No one answers and call goes to voicemail. I leave a message with my name, number, and reason. 5 days later when I return from business trip out of country I check my phone and NO return call. I call again to Service. Call goes to voicemail again. Instead of leaving message I call back and speak to someone(i didn't note her name). I explain to her what has transpired to date. She pulls up service calendar and says they are wide open and I can bring car in to be looked at. When I arrive at Vorderman service shop they inform me they have NO openings in their schedule today. I am not getting a good feeling about the "Service" department. I make an appointment for the next week (as ill be out of town again). On way home I stop by Advance autoparts and have a look at the OBD code display. Only 1 code is displayed... SMALL EMISSIONS LEAK. This code sounds very similar to the trade-in code detected where they state they replaced the fuel cap and purge valve? Fast forward to shop visit # 2. Drop car at Service shop. I'm informed the OBD codes report 3 different malfunctions AND get this... NONE are covered under the 2 month / 2000 mile warranty! 1. The electric thermostat is $460 installed. 2.The camshaft sensor replacement $323 installed 3.The DMTL pump is $410 installed Oh and what happened to the Small Emission Leak code that Advanced Auto reader displayed?? So I'm to believe this car just happened to throw 3 NEW OBD codes the drive home from dealer purchase!!! I expressed my dissatisfaction in emails with Matt in Service. He said he would speak with GM and get back with me in an email dated Sept 28th. As of October 5th I have not received any updates. Caveat Emptor. Latin for "let the buyer beware Mike More
