We went to Tasca from Dutchess County to look at a used Hyundai Sante Fe that was listed for sale on the Capital One website as a dealer partner. Tasca used a "stock image" as photos of the car. When we got there, we saw salesman, Marvin Hokstam. He advised us that the Sante Fe was at their dealership just down the street and he would have it brought up. When the car got there, it was literally crashed on all sides and the brakes were very bad per Marvin. Then he proceeds to show us an upgraded, used Tucson being sold for quite a bit more than the Sante Fe. We really liked the Tucson. Marvin said that he and the sales manager didn't want us to think they did a bait and switch and gave us $1000 off. We purchased it for $27,000. Marvin Hokstam and the Sales Manager, who was involved in the sale price, did a bait and switch. I just didn't realize it at the time. A fews months later, the Tucson was due for it's first service. We drive the hour and half to Tasca for an 11:30am appointment. The service department associate, Donovan Aspinall, told me I needed an oil change ($170.99), a coolant change ($299.99) and a tire rotation ($149.99). I questioned the additional service he said I needed to do along with the $220 labor rate. He told me not to worry about the labor rate, that each service was a flat charge. I told him I didn't want to void the warranty by not doing the additional service but it was so expensive. He said he recommended doing it. We had just purchased the Certified Tucson and only put 11,000 miles on it. I assume, for the certification, all the service was done prior to us buying it. There was only 17,000 miles on the car when we bought it. The service ended up taking 4 hours instead of the 2 hours, like we were told. We spent all day there (11:30am to 3:30pm). The cost was $672.97 , which $400.01 was for the labor, I was told not to worry about. When I got home, I looked up when the coolant should be changed and it varies but up to 100,000 miles unless it gets contaminated. I really just needed an oil change for $170.99. To top it off, when we got home, the SERVICE NEEDED light came on saying we were over the miles. This Sales and Service Department scam people. On 1/18/25, I sent an email to both Marvin Hokstam and the Service Manager (through Marvin) with my concerns of the service on 1/17/25. I have not heard from anyone! DO NOT GO HERE .... THEY ARE DISHONEST, IN ALL DEPARTMENTS, AND WILL SLYLY RIP YOU OFF! We regret buying from here. Read their lowest, most recent reviews. I am reporting this dealership to The Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. More

This is my 3rd car from this dealership. The previous two vehicles were before this dealership was bought by Tasca Hyundai. My first two experiences were fantastic no issues. My most recent The previous two vehicles were before this dealership was bought by Tasca Hyundai. My first two experiences were fantastic no issues. My most recent leasing experience has been absolutely brutal. Truthfully I wish I went with New Rochelle Hyundai instead. I feel as though this dealer is now run by snake oil salesman. I was told everything and anything just to get me into the car. The second that you sign the paperwork it then becomes absolutely impossible to speak with your salesman/manager. Not only does the customer service email on the website come back with an error code but every single time I’ve called asking to speak to a manager I’m told they are not at their desk and will get back to me. In February I leased a 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT. I agreed to come out of my Tucson and upgrade to a palisade. I was told the dealership would eat the remaining payments. Took a few weeks to get the vehicle I wanted to the dealership. It was not until I signed the paperwork that i realized I made a payment for the Tucson two days earlier. Dealership told me that I was part of the pull ahead program and there was nothing they could do so I called Hyundai finance and was told I would receive a refund. After back and forth Hyundai decided that I would not receive a refund for February’s payment unless the dealer paid them for February. So for the month of February I paid for two cars. Furious I called the dealership back and after haggling with the manager they agreed to refund me $200 bucks. It’s now June and I’ve still not received the refund. In addition when I received the vehicle there were two dents on one of the rear doors. Was told numerous times through email and verbally over the phone that the dealership would schedule a repair and get back to us. It’s June and the repair has still not been scheduled. Truthfully management should be far more embarrassed by this situation than anyone. If I as a supervisor continued to tell paying customers I would return their calls and never did I would have lost my job. Even if I am completely and utterly wrong a manager who actually cares about customer service would return phone calls or emails in a reasonable time period. My last two complaints are 1) I was told there would be an “update” coming that would automatically push through and make my Apple CarPlay wireless just like my Tucson had( this never happened) and last but not least I made it very very clear to the salesman Marvin numerous times that I wanted a trailer hitch ON THE VEHICLE. He swore up and down that it came standard with the XRT package. It’s my fault that I never bothered to climb under the vehicle and check if it was installed. I assumed it was installed and hidden behind a cap on the bumper. It wasn’t until last night while getting ready for a family trip that I realized the hitch wasn’t there at all. As per usual it’s impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone and like I said before the email address provided ON THEIR WEBSITE doesn’t work. Somehow the managers are always so busy they are never at their desks or able to call customers back. Needless to say I will never ever buy or lease another car from this dealership. It’s been a painful experience and if asked I will tell everyone to steer clear of this dealer. This dealer seems to have turned to crap since Tasca purchased them which is odd considering their pledge is “We humbly pledge to continue the Tasca Family Commitment that YOU WILL BE SATISFIED” More

Don't EVER buy a vehicle here. My GF bought one and the dealership didn't have the title then 3 weeks after they got it they didn't register it. The salesmen Marvin told her to stop calling and figure it out on her own. They didn't get the CT emissions done when she paid for CT registration which meant they had to do it to register the vehicle. He even called her a liar when she told him the credit union has been trying to reach them for the paperwork regarding the lien. A week later after going up there for the 4th time and the car STILL isn’t registered!! I’m going to have to pay them a visit AGAIN this weekend. These people are your typical sleazy salesmen who don't care about the customer. They never answer the phone but are so quick to take your money. AVOID THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY MARVIN More

I'm glad I finance my car. The sales guy was amazing. However service I rate them a 1 !!! My car only had 7,000 miles and was leaking water back into my car. They told me it wa The sales guy was amazing. However service I rate them a 1 !!! My car only had 7,000 miles and was leaking water back into my car. They told me it wasn't covered and charged me 90.00. They said oh it might have been dust or a spider that clogged the hose. I only had 7000 miles it was 9 months old. So I really really dislike 👎 the service dept. I will never buy a car from them. More

BEWARE of shady tactics. After agreeing on monthly lease payment with, supposedly, only tags and first month payment upfront, they tried to add $3400 more on fees. A few days later they kept calling to nego payment with, supposedly, only tags and first month payment upfront, they tried to add $3400 more on fees. A few days later they kept calling to negotiate a better deal. After another consent, salesman Marv texted agreement to sign for 39 month lease instead of 36 month as was always discussed. Oh. An “honest” mistake. Next he sent itemized breakdown to me of all money due at signing: DMV, documentation, and first month payment. Lo and behold, when my husband went to pick up the car, finance guy Alan said he owed ANOTHER first months payment in addition. When my husband enlisted Marv’s help, he agreed with Alan. So all was charged to credit card. When I found out and called Marv and sent him a text of his breakdown, no response, of course. Spoke to Alan who wouldn’t charge back the extra payment. Why? It was a credit card! Finally agreed to revise monthly payment and send new lease the next day. Week goes by, no new lease. More calls and texts to Marv and Alan the following week. No calls returned. Worst Hyundai experience after 10 years of lease negotiations at other dealerships. Stay away!!!! More
