Sales process was easy with some inattention to details This was a second purchase after a first time good experience with sales and service for 4 years. The sales process was simple, low-key, and pleasant This was a second purchase after a first time good experience with sales and service for 4 years. The sales process was simple, low-key, and pleasant. Attention to other details was inconsistent; we were not oriented to car and found no manuals in the car after I got home. Finance paperwork process was was made easy but follow-up calls have not been returned by finance person regarding warranty service contract questions - which was sold without provision of important cancellation details. Overall, a good place to consider doing business; just be sure you mention all the "i's" you want dotted and 't's" you want crossed. More

Mark Fairbanks helped me find a nice Legacy that was well maintained and in my price range. I got a great trade in offer on my 13 year old truck from John Camper who really shopped around to get me the best money. Aaron did a great job in the finance office.This dealership is not large, has a real small town feel, great prices and low pressure. More

horrible sales My husband and I went in to buy a 2015 Subaru Forester and had a horrible experience!! We were not taken seriously, offered a LOW trade in and to top My husband and I went in to buy a 2015 Subaru Forester and had a horrible experience!! We were not taken seriously, offered a LOW trade in and to top it off Mark the sale rep was rude. He would only offer a car with extra options but not willing to change the price or the car we wanted. Thankfully Mark pushed us out the door...bought a 2015 Forester with leather seats, weather package and everything we wanted in a car with a great price at Manchester Subaru and drove it off the lot only hours later. I say DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!! More

Great experience! I have been to many other Subaru dealerships in Nh. In fact, almost all of them. Mark really made us feel as though he was doing everything in his po I have been to many other Subaru dealerships in Nh. In fact, almost all of them. Mark really made us feel as though he was doing everything in his power to get our needs met. We came in with a tricky situation and Mark navigated it beautifully. We drove home with a car we love and we will rest easy tonight because we feel like we got it for an excellent price! I also want to say that we briefly work with Shy and she was a delight as well. The closing of the sale came down to not only where i was going to buy from buy whom i was going to go with. i felt really comfortable closing the sale and will continue to recommend to anyone looking to buy a Subaru. I will also feel comfortable bringing in my Subaru in for maintenance as well. This experience has been great i never thought i would feel so good after dealing with the great sales team of Milford Subaru Thank you for a Job well done More

Two Car Buying Experiences at Subaru of Milford Used Honda Pilot In July 2013 my wife and I were in the market for a used Honda Pilot that was about 2 years old with 30k miles or so. We searched Used Honda Pilot In July 2013 my wife and I were in the market for a used Honda Pilot that was about 2 years old with 30k miles or so. We searched local honda dealerships whose lots were loaded with them. We had no luck getting to a reasonable price. We saw online that Subaru of Milford had one on their lot at a more reasonable price. I put in an online inquiry and told them what I we were looking for and the price we wanted to pay. they respected my request to contact me by email (vs. phone) and told me that they might not be able to meet my exact price but could come close and asked if we would be willing to come look at the vehicle to ensure that it was something that we truly wanted. We agreed and that evening we went to look at the car. I fully expected the usual gamesmanship. It didn't happen. They had the car ready for us to test drive. We did and decided it was exactly what we wanted. They brought us in and actually had us meet directly with James, the Sales Manager - no one running back and forth to the back room to see if the "mysterious boss" can improve the deal. We were actually sitting IN the back room. The whole dealership just seemed to have a very laid back atmosphere. James reiterated that he could not meet our price but could come close. When we asked how close, we were in disbelief when he offered us the car for a few hundred more than we had asked. It was clear that James was not looking to squeeze every penny he could out of us and was perfectly happy to offer us a good deal while making a reasonable profit. Also, no one ever made an attempt to upsell us to a different vehicle. There were a few minor conditioning issues with the car and they agreed to take care of all of our concerns. The deal was handed over the Mark Fairbanks in Sales and he was also very helpful with no pressure at any point in the process. We purchased the car for thousands less than we could negotiate it from a honda dealership but what impressed us most was the approach of the employees. Everyone we dealt with listened to our concerns and addressed them with no games or "typical" tactics that you might experience at other dealerships. 2015 Subaru Forester Two Sundays ago, I stopped by the lot again with my 12 y.o. daughter. We were in the area and decided to stop in just to look at the used Foresters. I thought I was going to buy used again but was not close to a buying decision and hadn’t even decided on a brand. I was also looking at Hondas, Fords and Mazdas. We showed up right at closing time. But, Mark Fairbanks spent 20 minutes with us answering all our questions. He took the time to show us two different cars that were on the lot. He didn’t try to sell us either one of them, he just answered our questions and did his best to educate us. He knew I wasn’t buying a car that day but he still spent the time with us even though it meant being late getting home to his family. A week went buy and I had decided on a new Forester. I had been offered some very competitive prices by other dealerships who then tried to earn a killing on my trade. Frustrated, I called Mark and said I am willing to buy a Forester today if you can meet my parameters. I outlined my offer on the new car and what I needed for my trade-in order to buy a car that day. He said “let me call you back in a few minutes”. He did and informed me that they could meet the price on the new car. He said that the price I was asking for my trade-in was above what they could get from their wholesaler, but if my trade were clean, they would meet that price too. I arrived and met Erik, the General Manager. He spent a few minutes looking at my car and then told Mark to “write it up”. No haggling. No hassle. In less than 30 minutes in the dealership I was signing for the new car. I was asking for a lot in this deal and they were willing to work with me. Part of it may be because I was a repeat customer? I don’t know. But what I do know is that the two easiest, most up front, most hassle free car purchases I have ever made were from Subaru of Milford. Mark in Sales as well as the management team of James and Erik are top notch. My Forester has to be ordered and may take several weeks for the car to arrive, so I will update this review after I take delivery of the car. More
