The issue is not with sales but with finance, who did not honor his word. Prior to buying, I query on the payment options. Personal check was offered as an option and they stated they can provide a few honor his word. Prior to buying, I query on the payment options. Personal check was offered as an option and they stated they can provide a few days (in this case 4 business days) to allow time to complete transferring funds. They cashed the check after 1 business day. It is fortunate that the transfer did complete within one business day but if it did not then this would have been a bounced check and would affect the credit rating. This is a "dick" move or just incompetent people that can hurt the customers financially. As they cannot keep their word and this situation has financial impact, I cannot recommend Stohlman Subaru of Sterling or Subaru for the following reason: * Potentially financial impact can be devastating to the buyer. * Cannot keep their word. * Due to the above, make one wondering what else they blunder. What makes this worst, this is a finance person who seems to not care or does not seem to understand the financial impact with this action. There was also no apologies from their management when I informed them of the situation. Their comment was similar to Office Space of they fix the problem. More

When I was shopping for a 2018 WRX, I showed up in a T-Shirt, shorts and flip flops. I looked like a punk kid who was just looking to joy ride. Mark came out and greeted us. We asked for a test drive T-Shirt, shorts and flip flops. I looked like a punk kid who was just looking to joy ride. Mark came out and greeted us. We asked for a test drive, he said no problem and tossed us the keys. 45mins later, I signed for a brand new 2018 WRX. Thank you for not pre-judging us. two years later, I purchased a 2020 STI in August of 2020. This was my 3rd Subaru Purchase through Mark Doyle and there were no games, no BS, and no crazy up sales. We spoke through pricing over email and phone, showed up signed the paperwork and waited for delivery. Car showed up as promised, PPI completed and drove off the lot. No BS, no craziness, just a smooth and seamless transaction. Will be buying again. More

Buying a car was great. My daughter deals with Stohlman’s for awhile and always pleased. Stohlmans had the car I wanted and the Subaru Crosstrek is beautiful. When we started the sales process on my first Subaru, a 2019 Forester, and I would have never thought that 6 months later, we would own 2 more, a 18 crosstrek and a 19 legacy. I just cant say enough about the team. Mark is the best sales guy I've even had the pleasure of working with, and Heather, in service, has just been amazing. If you want to buy a Subaru...You need to buy it from this location. I've been to at least 5 of them in the DMV area and would be a mistake to go elsewhere.... More
