Brought my daughter’s car up for its first service, everything went smoothly. They even washed the car after the oil change. BMW of Alexandria's service department was unfortunately one of the worst experiences I've had with BMW, which should live up to be the luxury brand that it markets itself to be. I dropped my car off on Fri one of the worst experiences I've had with BMW, which should live up to be the luxury brand that it markets itself to be. I dropped my car off on Friday to be seen for an iDrive system malfunction which ended up drowning the battery. I was promised a loaner, then upon arrival was told the loaner wasn't available and they refused to drive me back to my home as it was an extra 2 miles outside the radius of their shuttle. Upon being firm, they provided me with an "older loaner." I left my vehicle and did not hear back until Tuesday, upon reminding them to get back to me, at which point I received a video from the technician and a repair estimate totaling over $5,500. In the video, the technician contradicted himself and said that the repairs were not guaranteed to fix the issues. It was obvious that the technician and service managers did not listen to my issues. Furthermore, I was told that my engine mounts were completely blown out and had to be replaced at a cost of $3,500. I picked my car up immediately, and took it to BMW of Silver Spring. There, the issue was diagnosed immediately and fully covered under warranty. The technician there double checked the engine mounts and found them to be completely fine, as they only go out at around 100,000 miles (my car is at 55,000). I ended up only needing to replace my battery, as everything else was covered under my warranty, which BMW of Alexandria wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for. Their service department blatantly tried to rip me off for thousands of dollars, which is immoral and possibly illegal. This is not what should be expected from a BMW dealership and I recommend to avoid this place at all cost. More

Dropping off my vehicle, I had to wait on service and no other customers were waiting (I was the only customer). After service was completed and I picked up my vehicle around 8:00pm, $1600.00 dollars later, other customers were waiting (I was the only customer). After service was completed and I picked up my vehicle around 8:00pm, $1600.00 dollars later, I received the worst customer service ever in all of my 53 years of life. I just cannot spend this type of money for horrible service. I was not even acknowledged, then when I got the reception attention and paid for my vehicle, I did not receive a thank you for choosing us or have a great evening. I am truly done with this dealership. Oh, by the way, the customer in front of me car keys was misplaced by this dealership. More

My brand new 2022, X3 was involved in an accident. It was towed to the dealership for repairs in May 2022, got the suv back in Nov 2022...repairs are still not done properly, and the car is just ridin It was towed to the dealership for repairs in May 2022, got the suv back in Nov 2022...repairs are still not done properly, and the car is just riding horrible and feels so unsafe, apparently the side of the car that had no impact, was overlooked and has continued to be an issue. I keep calling every month to the location to get the car back in to get checked out and keep getting the run around, I am told it's busy...like xxx!! You would think they are fixing my vehicle for FREE. At this point I am DONE with BMW. On the bright side, Alp my sales guy is the best (he sold me 2 brand new cars over the years) and my previous service techs Jack and Greg are very great with communication and service! More
