On October 26 2024, I was sold a 2014 Honda Civic, that was advertised for $10,900, at Coast Buick dealership in Newport Richey.I was hoping they drop the price, but instead the car salesman Marty, told me was advertised for $10,900, at Coast Buick dealership in Newport Richey.I was hoping they drop the price, but instead the car salesman Marty, told me they would drop the interest rate from 17% to 10.9%. Then they included their dealer fees, putting the car total cost was $12,900. The finance manager Marc showed me, what my payment plan with gap insurance & a warranty would look like. Which showed the amount going up to $14,900, when I declined the offer & said it needs to be renegotiated. He said he would see what he could do, so then he removed the gap insurance &, showed the price back down to $12,900 with the 3 year warranty still attached to it. Saying I could use my $2,000 down deposit, & would just be on a 5 year plan, & only charged an additional $20 dollars on my monthly payment. So thinking my finance plan was still going to come out at the same rate it would, with or without the warranty. I thought it would be a smart option to take the plan with the warranty. Turns out I was wrong, what I wasn't aware of. Was that he already included my $2,000 security deposit being deducted from the cars principal amount, & that the $12,900 I was seeing on the screen. Was the amount of the remaining car's principal balance, plus the warranty. Putting my total remaining financing balance, at $16,900 for a a car going on 11 years old. Which upon finding out, when I went back to the store & asked to talked with someone in finance, was $2,531. From a warranty company called Fidelity, that's when I researched. Turned out to have a bad reputation & doesn't provide a quality service, from customer reviews. When I asked the man Patrick I spoke with in finance, for his assistance with removing the warranty. He told me that his hands are tied, & that it's impossible to remove the warranty. Which I'm unsure is an honest, truthful, or factual response. So I'm reaching out to Florida Office of Financial Regulation, Florida Attorney General, Florida Department of Highway Safety. As well as any lawyers that practice Auto Fraud & Lemon Law, because the price gouging they're doing. Is down right manipulative & deceitful. On top of the fact that Marty the car salesman & Marc the finance manager, refuse to answer any of my calls. Leaving me high & dry with this crooked payment plan. I wish I read all the negative reviews on Google, CarFax, & Yelp. Before ever reaching out to this dealership for anything, you'll also be able to find the negative reviews, on Fidelity warranties on ConsumerAffairs. Hope this review is useful to anyone reading this, who was considering any cars in their inventory. Also hope this review gets in front of their Corporate/Higher Ups. Because this dealership needs some comprehensive oversight. Kick out & let go of all their salesman & management staff. That can't be honest, fair, or truthful with their current/potential customers, or go above & beyond within their limits. To guarantee & achieve customer satisfaction, without charging additional packaged high cost fees, every single time. For every problem a customer has, with the dishonest offers & services this dealership keeps bringing. More

Adam, Nick, and Mark were all incredibly helpful. Adam was responsive and answered all my questions... he clearly wanted our business, but was professional and never came across as pushy. BUYER BEWARE. COAST BUICK GMC IN PORT RICHEY FLORIDA CANT BE TRUSTED. I PREVIOUS WROTE A REVIEW WITH 5 STARS HOWEVER THE VERY NEXT DAY WE FINALLY WERE SHOWN TH COAST BUICK GMC IN PORT RICHEY FLORIDA CANT BE TRUSTED. I PREVIOUS WROTE A REVIEW WITH 5 STARS HOWEVER THE VERY NEXT DAY WE FINALLY WERE SHOWN THE DETAIL OF OUR PURCHASE PRICE OF $86,600 AFTER NUMEROUS ATTEMPTS TO GET ANSWERS WE WERE GIVEN DETAIL OF ADDITIONAL FEES THAT WERE NOT DISCLOSED. I QUESTIONED AT TIME OF SIGNED BECAUSE PURCHASE PRICE WAS MUCH HIGH THAN EXPECTED. WE LEFT WITH NO PAPERWORK FOR ME TO REVIEW BECAUSE THE TRUCK WAS NOT EXPECTED ON THE LOT FOR A WEEK THEREFORE THOUGHT WE WOULD GET OPPORTUNITY TO REVIEW THE DETAIL PRIOR TO GETTING THE TRUCK. I CALLED NICK AND CARLOS THE NEXT DAY REQUESTING THE DETAIL THEY WERE OFF CARLOS SAID NICK WOULD GO OVER WEDNESDAY. WE RECEIVED A CALL THAT AFTERNOON STATING TRUCK WAS READY WE COULD PICK IT UP AT 11 WEDNESDAY. OF COURSE THE TRUCK WAS WHAT WE WANTED THEREFORE WENT TO NICK TO FINALIZE THE SALE WHO HAD RANI WITH HIM TO PROVIDE US THE ANSWERS WE REQUESTED (DETAIL OF WHAT MADE UP THE 86,600. RANI SAID IT WAS FEES FOR TAXES,TITLES ETC HOWEVER NEVER SHOWED DETAIL). WE LEFT WITH THE TRUCK AND FINALLY SOME PAPERWORK WHICH DID NOT INCLUDE THE WINDOW STICKER TO SHOW US WHAT WE ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE TRUCK. ONCE WE WERE HOME AND DID THE MATH WE SAW THERE WAS AT LEAST $ 15,000 MORE ADDED TO PURCHASE PRICE. I WAS ABLE TO GET THE WINDOW STICKER ON LINE NOW THAT WE HAD THE VIN#. I CALLED RANI REQUESTING DETAIL AND HE AGREED TO MEET US THE NEXT DAY. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME IT WAS DISCLOSED THAT WE WERE BEING CHARGED $4995 COAST ELITE, 1150.FOR APPEARANCE, 999.00 FOR WINDOW TINTING (MAINE HAS A LAW REGARDING THIS THE TRUCK WOULD NOT PASS INSPECTION IF WE HAD MORE) 2995.00 DELIVERY FEE, AND 6000 DEALER CASH. A TOTAL OF OVER 17,000. NOT DISCLOSED. WE WERE TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO. THE 999 WINDOW TINTING WAS REFUNDED. RANI SAID HE SHOWED US THE DETAIL AND SAID HE WAS SORRY WE DIDNT REMEMBER… . HAD WE BEEN TOLD THE TRUTH AND THIS INFORMATION HAD BEEN DISCLOSED WE WOULD HAVE NEVER PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS CONVERSATIONS REGARDING THIS WITH FINANCE AND SALES DEPARTMENT THE ARE ADAMANT THEY DID NOTHING WRONG SO NO REMORSE. I CANT BELIEVE THIS FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS WOULD SCAM US LIKE THIS. DAY ONE , THEY WERE DISHONEST WITH US AND HAD OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE IT RIGHT BUT DIDNT OFFER. PRIOR TO THIS EXPERIENCE WE HAD ALL OUR SERVICE DONE THERE AND WAS VERY PLEASED. NEVER AGAIN WILL WE DO ANYTHING WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. MJSJUNE23 More
