It keeps your authentic voice and frustration while improving clarity, grammar, flow, and impact—making it more likely to be taken seriously by the dealership and helpful to other customers. --- **Title:** Extremely Disappointing Service Experience After 20+ Years of Loyalty Giving a negative review is never easy for me, but I feel compelled to share my recent experience at Silveira GMC Service. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, purchasing multiple vehicles and consistently servicing them at Silveira GMC. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was by far the most disappointing. I brought in my mint-condition 2011 Cadillac Escalade (76,000 miles) for a check engine light indicating a misfire in cylinder #8. The service advisor confirmed the issue was the ignition coil, provided an estimate of approximately $350 (part in stock), and assured me the repair would be completed the same day. Later that day, I was informed that after removing the coil, they discovered the part was actually out of stock and needed to be ordered. While the coil was out, the technician noticed a leaking heater hose dripping onto the #8 coil area. I was then given a new estimate of $335 for the hose replacement (also supposedly in stock) and told it would be completed that afternoon. I picked up the vehicle with the original faulty coil reinstalled and scheduled a return visit once the new coil arrived. The following week, the coil was installed, and the misfire issue was resolved. When I returned to pay, I expected a total around $735 for both repairs. Instead, I was shocked to be presented with a bill for **$1,515**—more than double what I had been quoted. Feeling I had no choice but to pay to retrieve my vehicle, I did so, but left extremely frustrated by the lack of communication, conflicting information about part availability, and the massive discrepancy between the estimates and final bill. After more than two decades of loyalty, this experience has severely damaged my trust in Silveira GMC. I will have a very difficult time considering them for future vehicle purchases or service—for myself or my extended Family. More
