There was some risk as to the job to be done (moneywise and timewise), if we attempted to fix it without a replacement part that same day, but with the information provided, I was able to make the right call to ask the team to go ahead and attempt the fix, and the service team did a stupendous job at really working the issue until it was repaired - even if it took a little extra time.
