Good exeprience I first want to give a big thanks to Malinda who was patient with me on the phone as I gathered information on the 2018 Lunar Silver Metallic, CR-V EX I first want to give a big thanks to Malinda who was patient with me on the phone as I gathered information on the 2018 Lunar Silver Metallic, CR-V EX-L I was considering. She was very patient and easy to talk to. She didn't try to rush me off the phone. That's a sign of good customer service. When I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted by, Jeff Parham. I essentially hung out with Jeff after our test drive and it was a very good time. We talked about our similar interests in music and I happened to learn (and remember) quite a bit during my time with him. In terms of helping with the sale of the car, he was straightforward and to the point, and answered my questions without making me feel like I was crazy. Every dealership is a slightly different experience, so I appreciate him explaining how things at his dealership worked. The only wrinkle in an otherwise good experience was in finance. I was told some of the services would be free to me, but then saw charges on the purchase contract. I accepted the ($200) extra charge and the services provided because my son will be a permitted driver next year and I can foresee some of the issues with key replacements. I like the laid back environment and the overall friendliness of the staff. I'll be sure to check Napleton River Oaks Honda, the next time I need a new Honda. More

Terrible, Horrible, and Totally Unacceptable Experience!!! I received an "Exclusive" offer but once they added in all their fees, the cost of the vehicle was more than the sticker price. I believe this is call I received an "Exclusive" offer but once they added in all their fees, the cost of the vehicle was more than the sticker price. I believe this is called Bait and Switch. But I am not the one and I will be reporting your unethical business practices too. More

Shane was a really big help because i’m 18 years old and working to build on my credit. I went into the dealership with no hope of getting a car because i never have good experiences at dealerships. Shane was positive, honest and hardworking with getting a good deal and putting little money down. Shane was very consistent and overall an upbeat person! :) Thank you Shane! More

unethical dealership I visited this place yesterday at about 8P.M because I was contacted by Malinda and Nancy about the special offer they were running for this weekend w I visited this place yesterday at about 8P.M because I was contacted by Malinda and Nancy about the special offer they were running for this weekend which was a $4,000 off msrp. I Called multiple times to make sure this deal was indeed true because I did not live near where they are located. Nancy stated that they would indeed honor the price they had given me, but I needed to physically be there so that they could do the paperwork. I asked them that if they could just do the paperwork and i would be willing to put down a deposit so that they could start the paperwork. Long story short I ended up driving down there which took me about an hour and twenty to get there. When I went inside the dealership I asked to speak to Nancy but I was greeted by her partner Jonathan that said he would get one of the salesmen to do all the paperwork. I got sat by a desk near by and waited for about 5 minutes for the salesmen to come talk to me. Once I told him Malinda and Nancy had offered me $4,000 off msrp he stood up and went into an inclosed office where what seemed like managers and other salesmen discussing what I just had told him. We waited there for about 20 minutes until one of the financing managers came out and told me that they could not take that much off. I proceeded to give him a number I would be comfortable spending and he asked me if he got me there "Would you make a deal today" I said yes. He left and I proceeded to wait again.. This time the salesmen came back and said they could not do the deal. It's so shameful that these guys have to send a salesmen to tell me this instead of one of the managers. (Shows very little professionalism and customer service) They couldn't do the price and even more that Malinda Nancy both scam people with fake prices just to get them in the door. Another thing that surprised me was that the salesmen said I was not the only one that had walked into the dealership with the same $4,000 off msrp special that day which surprises me that if they had this happen why are these ladies still working there? Overall I advice anyone out there to steer far away from this scamming dealership that only tries to get people in the door so in hopes of hooking them on a deal that wasn't the one offered to one in the first place. I would rate this dealership negative stars if it could be possible. P.s anyone reading this go check other reviews from other websites that show proof. More

Dealership doesn't honored Truecar price it offrd via mail Tried to use my TrueCar certificate at Napleton River Oaks Honda (17220 Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL) and dealer/ used car manager refused to owner th Tried to use my TrueCar certificate at Napleton River Oaks Honda (17220 Torrence Avenue, Lansing, IL) and dealer/ used car manager refused to owner that! Truecar price $28,872 for VIN: 5FNRL6H55KB024543. Sales guy initially said they need another $1500 on top of the certificate price. When asked to talk with the Used car sales manager, he gave the offer of $29,500 and said they won't honor the certificate. I drove over 2 hrs from Wisconsin to Illinois for this disappointment! More

Be aware of additional prices I saw a certified used 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L in Cars.com and I enquired about them. They immediately responded with the price and they mentioned that w I saw a certified used 2016 Honda CR-V EX-L in Cars.com and I enquired about them. They immediately responded with the price and they mentioned that we are transparent with the price. You need to pay for State Document charge, New or transfer license plate and sales tax. Apart from there there will no hidden charges. I believed their email and asked them to reduce the price to match the typical CPO value as mentioned in KBB. They accepted that as well. I went there in the evening to test drive and finalize the deal with the price they mentioned in the email. After test drive and told to give details about the financing options. There comes their true face. 1. Price is different than the one in email. 2. More hidden fees. 3. APR is high and they hide the offer which Honda is providing for certified cars. I told them that i didn't came here to negotiate the price. They are talking with me for more than one hour. Finally they reduced the price somewhat and match the APR with Honda offering. But still I am paying more than the quote in the email. So I denied the deal and walk away from there. Finally I waste my 2.5 hours in driving and 2 hours in show room. More
