Purchased our new Santa Fe 3 months ago from Hyundai of Racine and this was the first time returning to the service side of things. We had the smallest issue possible with our vehicle: a dead key fob batt Racine and this was the first time returning to the service side of things. We had the smallest issue possible with our vehicle: a dead key fob battery. Our guy in service IAN was able to squeeze us in and got it taken care of. Warranty/No Charge and a spotless car wash to boot? You gotta be kidding me!! Fresh made coffee and snacks while you wait??? Friendly staff with smiles and greetings all around?? Yes Please!! Lexus and Mercedes level of VIP treatment of their customers at Zeigler Hyundai of Racine!!! Just FYI, we drove 80 miles purchase and service our vehicle at Zeigler More

The salesman (Myles) was very helpful to locate a vehicle that was around what we were looking for and quickly got it ready to test drive and ultimately got it ready to take home. I think we waited a bit that was around what we were looking for and quickly got it ready to test drive and ultimately got it ready to take home. I think we waited a bit too long to get the financial paperwork done, in previous experiences it was almost being rushed to sign but this time was the opposite. What I really didn’t like was getting forced to buy a product I didn’t have a choice of evaluating its value. This is LoJack. I was told that was a “corporate policy” of Zeigler to include it with all the cars they sell. I understand being offered as a service (just like activating Satélite Radio, a WiFi hotspot or an Extended warranty and let the customer decide if it values it or not) but not that is added without a choice. You could say that it can be negotiated as part of the overall price but that’s $500 more to the price that you’re stuck with from the beginning. And at some point in time you get tired of the haggling and you just say yes to move on. And that is why buying a used car has such a bad reputation and is dreaded my most. Me included now. I would love for a consumer protection area to look into this as I think is unfair to consumers. More
