Especially Lorenzo. The 2019 crv had low mileage but a few blemishes on the outside and a few levers (to put down the back seat) were broken although still functional- salesman said yes we will fix all of that. I asked for the history- he said one owner no accidents. Then I asked for the car fax but he didn't show me right away- wanted to negotiate the price- so I tell him without seeing any proof of its history I'm would offer a few thousand under asking price as long as they fix all the things they promised. He acts like I am insane and implies I made up that number and he would be embarrassed for me to even consider it. He tried arguing with me but I insisted that's my offer. I should have left then. We finally agree on a price that is higher than I wanted to spend. But I was only an advisor- my sons was buying the car and he said go ahead ... lorenzo finally shows the shows the carfax to me after we negotiate and sign on a price- why? Bc the car had a "minor" accident. xxx! So then, as we are waiting on financing, he talks to my son about all these features, esp the tracker that they put on all vehicles where you can find your car if it ever gets stolen. He shows him how to set up the app.... meantime I am concerned about all of the things they said they would fix- Lorenzo assured me it's in writing and we will see it at contract signing. I asked again about the levers that put down the back seat- the ones he told me they would fix- "let me check on it" he says- returning half hour later to say his boss won't authorize that because the seat is still functional. Again we should've walked- but my son Said okay. So we are waiting and waiting.... finally get in to sign papers- turns out that tracking device cost $700 along with 2 other "features" that cost another $1500 more that were undisclosed. My son was signing papers and I can't help but think that he was being taken advantage of bc he was young and naiive. Long story short-- find a more reputable dealer

Paula, I spoke with all parties involved and reviewed your sons transaction. We did reach out to your son to try and discuss what happened but have yet to hear back from him. All of your son's deal screens had everything fully disclosed and he signed the agreement form prior to visiting the finance office. Also, in regards to the backseat issue, I was informed there was no issue and it was shown to your son before he left. If there is still an issue with it, I would love to help get it fixed! The one thing that surprised me was the carfax not being shown when requested. We are a full disclosure store that prides itself on transparency. I do not know why it wasn't shown when requested. We make all carfax reports available on our website for every vehicle in inventory, again not trying to hide anything. If this was a breakdown in our process I will be sure to address it.
