Great experience in purchasing my Lexus at Shottenkirk Toyota dealership in Hudson Oaks, Texas. I enjoyed working with the salesman, Patrick Kemp, who made purchasing a vehicle so easy. After I had made my decision on the vehicle I wanted, the next person on the team I went to see was London Crawford in finance. He explained all the details I needed to know, was professional, but very personable. Plus I enjoyed visiting with him about his time playing in the NFL. I had been procrastinating buying a vehicle but really needed to start. I do not enjoy trying to decide on a vehicle to purchase I find that it is a tedious process. I have to admit I actually enjoyed the entire experience of purchasing my new car with this team at the Shottenkirk dealership. Thank you! More

It's BAU for them, getting over on people with regularity. Financed my purchase over 2% higher than the loan I walked in pre-approved for. Forced addons I refused multiple times by folding them into the purchase price (a Deceptive Trade Practice no-no), and cleverly hid/omitted certain paperwork that would have shown clauses in their contracts that would cause concern for anyone. I reached out to the finance manager who refused to provide copies of all documents with my signature (illegal), and was told I'd be called by the General Manager, who never called. More

BEWARE – Check Your Loan Documents Carefully I had a very disappointing experience at this dealership. During the finance process, I clearly declined all extended warranties and service contracts. However, when I reviewed my loan paperwork about a week later, I discovered that a $5,000 service contract had been added to my loan without my approval. Buyers should be extremely careful when signing documents on the iPad in the finance department and review every page thoroughly before finalizing anything. This has been the worst car-buying experience I’ve ever had. I strongly recommend double-checking all loan and add-on documents before leaving the dealership. More
