Negotiable & Accommodating After a bad experience at another dealership that ended in us having to actually return a car, my husband and I were feeling burned out and hopeless w After a bad experience at another dealership that ended in us having to actually return a car, my husband and I were feeling burned out and hopeless when it came to car buying. We looked around online, found a car that we fell in love with at Merchants, and took a drive down. I walked in ready to fight and haggle to get the pricing I wanted, even printing off comparable cars in the area to use as bargaining chips. We worked with Lisa, explained that we are expecting our first child in August and loved the car but needed the price to come down a bit. No questions asked, she went straight to her manager to see what they could do. The price they came back with was right up our ally and fell into the comparable cars in the area ballpark. Steve in finance was great and worked with us, got to know us, and found financing that worked for our budget. He was relatable and again built our trust in the large purchase we were making. The overall experience was a wonderful one. We highly recommended Merchants in Hooksett, just don't be intimidated by all of the sales people standing outside when you drive in. More
