My experience at Zag Motors-an experience I’ll never forget. I saw an ad for a Hemi powered Dodge Challenger, so while experiencing a delusion of grandeur or in a manic state , I responded to the ad. forget. My credit was sub par and I had less than half of what everyone else wanted for a down payment Most said that they could finance me if I had $10-$15,000 down. Excuse me? Not. So I was about to throw in the towel and go buy another beater for $1200. Then I received a call from Lesley. She actually listened when I explained to her my unique issues. Within minutes she called me back and told me that unfortunately the 2010 Challenger I had asked about would not be able to be financed. Right before my heart hit the floor she told me However, the 2015 Dodge Challenger RT Plus with a Hemi and with many less miles would be able to be financed by me. The price difference was negligible. So I asked her to take us to Def Con 2 and actually seek a bank approval. She immediately said; “Do you think I would have called you and told you that only to break your heart later? Of course, we have bank approval.” I began my happy dance, silently of course. This was two days before Christmas. I only had half of what everyone else wanted for a down payment. I could not bring myself to tell them that I only had half. So I stood them up and missed two appointments while I waited on a miracle. Fearing that I would lose the car to another buyer, I called Lesley and explained my situation. That’s when Lesley introduced me to Leo. He became the instrument of my miracle. I explained my situation to him and I was expecting a response like “call me back when you have some money to buy a car” but instead, once again, I had someone on the phone that actually was listening to what I was saying. The response that I was given, still brings chills up my spine. This man, announced the fact that I would only have to pay half of the half that I did have. It took somewhere close 2 days for me to realize that he was being serious. He said, “enjoy your Christmas and I hope that $1000 really helps. Now I was frantic to get to Lynnwood and coming from Fife it was quite the trek. The deal was too good to pass up. Like I’ve already said, I had marginal, at best, credit and not enough down payment. The fact that he could get me financed on a $25,000 Hot Rod in itself was amazing but now I had more than enough down payment due to their diligence. I called an Uber and jumped in. The ride cost me $151.89 but it is a ride I would take again. When I arrived I was greeted by Lesley’s beautiful smile. She said “and your name is?” When I asked for her by name. I could tell by the look on her face, she already knew who I was. When I said my name, she exclaimed, “I knew it”! I was worried about my car being sold because I had missed so many appointments and I was 4 hours late to this one. When I pulled onto the lot I was searching for it. Leo had promised to keep it for me until that days appointment. But i was four hours late. Had they sold it.? I asked Lesley and Leo overheard my question and said “Yeah where is that Challenger, I haven’t seen it all day”. Lesley excused herself to go and try to locate my dream car. When I saw her again it was behind the wheel of my Green Monster. She would later confide in me that she tucked it away in the back because I had already told her that I had to have that car. She saved my baby from even being seen despite the fact that I was four hours late. She told me that she could hear in my voice that I really wanted the car so she was going to do everything possible. She anticipated my kind of music and had it playing. What she couldn’t have known was that the song playing would have been my first choice. Lesley is a no xx, no pressure sales person. She took what is always a terrible experience 4 me and made it a remarkable one that I won’t soon forget. You guys rock and I’ll definitely be back More
