I can only recommend this dealership if in fact all does end well and that remains to be seen. My rating of this dealership is based on my experience as a former North Carolina Quality Examiner, a former Board Member of a National Quality organization, a former Lead Judge and trainer of Judges for an International Team Excellence competition and approximately 40 years in the practice of quality and organization development, roughly 25 years of which were in mu own consulting practice. If there is a desire to improve, I'll gladly discuss in detail my experience. Of the people with whom I interacted, Scott Roten was outstanding. More

Excellent customer service Everyone we worked with at the dealership went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the purchase of our XC90. William Rob Everyone we worked with at the dealership went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied with the purchase of our XC90. William Robertson is an excellent sales person. He took the time to explain the features of the car and was a pleasure to deal with. We appreciated the extra lengths that Volvo Corporate and Les Young went to in order to resolve a difficult situation. We highly recommend this dealership. More

Bad customer service after the fact My experience was with the GM Rob and GSM Les. A family member(64yr old recently widowed single female with no children) felt there recently brand new My experience was with the GM Rob and GSM Les. A family member(64yr old recently widowed single female with no children) felt there recently brand new Volvo was having mechanical issues and asked for it to be throughly inspected before picking it up. She was provided a rental car (complimentary thru new car warranty ) and the inspection was included in her new car warranty. When service brushed off her concerns and told her to come pick up the vehicle she insisted the vehicle be checked again b/c she didn't want to be broken down on the side the road again. The service advisor refused and she told them she wasn't going to bring the rental car back until they assured her nothing was wrong. She received a call from the GM Rob and explained all she wanted was her car checked(simple). It's covered free of charge thru Volvo new car warranty. Seeing this conversation was not going anywhere and threats of coming to get the rental car and charging her a lot fee for her vehicle being there my family member had enough and said she would call him back but couldn't talk any more. He was causing her to have a panic attack. This is where the situation became out of control. A successful younger Caucasian male felt insulted and bitter that a elderly woman hung up on her. So he instructed his employees to send a wrecker to pick up the rental from her house and charge her a fee for her vehicle being on there lot. 1200-1600 if I remember correctly and until she paid it refused to give her her paid off vehicle. With no vehicle to drive and having health concerns(doctor visits) she was left with little options. She reached out to me because I worked in a similar field to try to mediate this blown out of proportion matter. I reached out to Les first and asked for a civil resolve. My conversations with Les were civil but I wasn't getting anywhere. After a day of trying I reached out to Les to tell him we would be up there the next day to collect the car and finalize the fees to move on. This conversation was taking place by text and I assume another text was taking place with him and the owner Rob. I was accidentally included in on there text and got to read to vulgar and disrespectful comments Rob was making about my family member and how this was nothing but a I'll show you to hang up on me kind of thing. Angerly I called Les and let him know I was accidentally included in this conversation. He was very apologetic and asked me to give him a day or two but he would take care of the fees but please don't take the matter further. When I followed up with him he told me they wouldn't be doing anything about the matter then I received communication from the owner Rob stating if I proceeded with the matter who would come after me professionally with my job. This whole situation comes across as grown men acting as little boys and just out for money. No care for the customer that pays there bills and make them wealthier than the average person buying and servicing vehicles with them. It's a bad image for the car industry. Be careful as you or someone you care about could be the next ones to experience a similar experience of customer service. More

Above and Beyond Working with the guy at Volvo Winston Salem (Kyle Coro, Les Young and James Fordham) was surprisingly and enjoyable experience. I have purchased many Working with the guy at Volvo Winston Salem (Kyle Coro, Les Young and James Fordham) was surprisingly and enjoyable experience. I have purchased many cars/trucks/SUV's and I must say that everything from making the deal 1.25 hours away from the dealership to visiting the very nice showroom, to getting a well made cappuccino and walking out the door with a new XC90 was by far the best experience I have had working with a dealership. Unlike other organizations, each member of the team we happened to even pass in the hallway, was extremely courteous and helpful. This experience was the opposite of the usual "buying a car" experience that most of us deal with whether we want or need a new car. More

Even though the car wasn't a Volvo, the staff was still extremely knowledgable and helpful. I worked with Arren Cole and Les Young, who were both reasonable and fair in getting me a deal for the car. I never felt pressured or pushed to buy. They were accommodating and the service has continued to be outstanding since the purchase. I would recommend the dealership for anybody looking for a new or used car! More

The only dealer to do business with Volvo of the triad is the only car dealership that I will continue to do business with in the future due to their approach to sales, ease and simplic Volvo of the triad is the only car dealership that I will continue to do business with in the future due to their approach to sales, ease and simplicity of buying, no hassle pressure and various options for the Consumer in regards to service and financing. Scott has been my sales consultant over the last five years. Scott personalizes dealership visits with new and old clients by getting to the bottom of what they want and tailoring visits to get the maximum use of time.
