She is passionate about providing an excellent purchasing experience for customers. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, photography and spending time with family and friends. spend your money anywhere but here My wife had been looking for a certain type of car for a month 1/2, finely found it here.We drove 2 1/2 hours to buy this car. Went on a test drive ended up liking the car. Was shown a list of everything that was fixed on the car and was a shored it was a sound car.The list said brakes were done, ac hose replaced and motor mounts also replaced.Drove off happy thinking we got a good car.Took the car to get a oil change at the dealership in my area and they said it was almost 2 quarts low on oil, they couldn't find the leak so the tech said drive it for a week then bring it back to see if he could spot it.Well had to take the motor out to replace gaskets which was covered under factory warranty, motor mounts were broke, { remember they were so called replaced}.... But that was covered under factory warranty. The tech took me in the back and showed me the front brakes said they need to be replaced and rotors too.Not covered under factory warranty ( also so called replaced and rotors turned )...... after 3500 miles buying the car... Oh the a/c started blowing out hot air on the driver side cold on passenger side, and the heat does it on the reverse sides.(1600) fix.. Called mckenney-salinas told them what was found, got the run around 2 weeks( that being nice ) Drive the car 2 1/2 hours we will do the brakes they said but you should have got the extended warranty for the a/c (cowardly by text message ) Im not driving 2 1/2 hours for a brake job that should have already been done but wasn't , like other things on the car that wasn't touched.....Oh yeah the tech that supposed to have done the work no longer works there ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, The dealership that found all my problems said they would take 400 off the price to fix a/c but mckenney-salinas offered nothing BUYER BEWARE............................... I have purchased or leased 4 Honda's since 2003. The last 2 were from McKenney Salinas Honda (MSH) in Gastonia. There are closer Honda dealers to where I live and work but for a buying experience, MSH last 2 were from McKenney Salinas Honda (MSH) in Gastonia. There are closer Honda dealers to where I live and work but for a buying experience, MSH is the ONLY one that has performed as requested. I own a home building business and have despised the buying/selling process of automobiles since I was a teenager. I have tried at great lengths to not treat customers in my business like the sterotype car buying experience. My preferred buying process is: do own research, set own specs and then solicit quotes. I also include a requirement to to have all pre-sale matters (negotiations, availability, lease term, credit check... ) completed before I arrive for my new vehicle. Then I expect to exchange vehicles, sign papers, get acclimated to the new vehicle and leave, all within 1 hour. The last 2 transactions I made at MSH took less than an hour each at the dealership. They presented ALL terms to me via email. I agreed via email, completed the on-line credit app, brought my vehicle in for an appraisal (which took less than 40 minutes) and returned later in the evening to pick up my new vehicle. I have not used their service dept. as I use a Honda dealer near my home who has taken care of our maintenance matters sufficiently. But for the buying experience, MSH has done all that I asked, TWICE now. Joe R More

I had to get a new vehicle because I was in an accident and started looking around at inventories online, comparing inventories to reliable cars found in Consumer Reports. They had several different cars that I was interested in looking at, so I went with my husband. We test drove a Honda Fit and a Honda Civic hybrid, both used. Ultimately, I went with the Fit because of good mileage/reviews and I liked the hatchback element. We were also unsure about maintenance on a used hybrid. The staff were helpful and honest. We liked that our Fit was also a "certified Honda." I would recommend them to people looking for a new or used car. Good selection and good service. More
