I came to Lakeland VW looking for a Jetta I had seen on the website, after watching a very favorable car review on YouTube. When Nick Maxvill met me in the showroom, I mentioned the car I wanted to see, h the website, after watching a very favorable car review on YouTube. When Nick Maxvill met me in the showroom, I mentioned the car I wanted to see, he got the key, and we went to look it over. While quite knowledgeable in answering my questions, Nick was letting me sell myself on the car instead of pushing for a sale, and I appreciate that. He knew I was there for a purpose, and he was facilitating that purpose. I think he's quite good at assessing a customer. We went for a test drive and Nick let me sell myself on the car. I gave the dealership four stars because the first set of paperwork I signed had the wrong VIN, and the spare key was for a different Jetta, so I had to return the next day and do it again. More

The price was good on the car. I called the dealership from four hours away and was able to basically buy the car over the phone. I do feel that I was at a disadvantage in terms of I called the dealership from four hours away and was able to basically buy the car over the phone. I do feel that I was at a disadvantage in terms of negotiating power in doing that and because I had purchased the car, they took advantage of my trade-in. The fees were a little high nothing was negotiable and I walked away with much higher out the door cost than I would’ve expected. They do not offer any return policy or delivery service so I had to drive four hours to drop off my trade-in to find out that it was worth them $2500 then Kelley Blue Book trade-in said it was worth. But all in all I got the car that I wanted and the sales person was extremely nice. More
