Because the vehicle was purchased in Virginia and registered in Maryland, Maryland law requires a separate state safety inspection that is performed by an independent inspection facility of the customer’s choosing. As disclosed and acknowledged at the time of sale, the dealership is not involved in or able to control the outcome, findings, or recommendations of Maryland inspection stations.
The vehicle was sold as-is, with an FTC Buyer’s Guide provided and signed, and the optional protection coverage was respectfully declined. With fewer than 3,000 miles, the vehicle met Virginia requirements at delivery, and items such as window tint compliance and inspection-related recommendations are specific to Maryland standards and the inspecting shop’s discretion.
That said, we genuinely want to be helpful and transparent. We are happy to review any inspection findings with you and discuss them directly to ensure clarity and fairness. Please contact our management team so we can address your concerns one-on-one.
