

You found me! lol I pride myself in being a people person, and I'm passing on those skills to my 13 year old daughter. If you pass us on the street, we're the strangers that acknowledge you, strike up a conversation, or even open doors for you. It's important to me that she understands she can make a difference. Being a single parent is far from easy. My free time is spent with Cali, but I have no complaints. I am a stronger because I realize she is watching me grow in all aspects of life. We love the races, bowling, golfing, softball, camping, anything outdoors really. We also enjoy watching my nephews and nieces play sports. At heart, I am a motivator, and feel the most fulfilled by making a difference. Buying a vehicle is a HUGE decision. It is exciting yet scary at the same time. My goal is to eliminate the stress.

Bought a 2016 Jeep Patriot about 2 years ago from these guys for my wife who hardly drives. We took it in with in 6 months for transmission issues. We had bought the extended service contract aka warranty. guys for my wife who hardly drives. We took it in with in 6 months for transmission issues. We had bought the extended service contract aka warranty. I was told that it needed a transmission and the the warranty company would only pay for a used one and that they were the ones who ordered it (turns out that was a lie) The first transmission came in with something broken so they had to get another transmission. We waited several weeks and it finally was "fixed" the transmission made a rattling noise but went down the road at-least for a few weeks..... Then we had to take it back in because it would no longer go down the road. Again replaced the used transmission with another.. Again did not last more than a few hundred miles. Then Schafer subs it out to Team Hodges to fix, again with a used transmissions, I waited very calmly for this to be fixed. Over a year later my Jeep still is not fixed and now the company that Schafer bought my used trans from no longer wants to warranty the trans... So Team Hodges makes another claim under my warranty for another used trans mission again it made it less than 5 miles before I had to take it back to Schafer. Then I get a phone call saying that I have used up all my warranty and that they might be able to get the transmission covered but I will have to pay all labor out of pocket now, I said I am not paying out of pocket for something that should have been fixed under warranty. I was told that my Jeep was in the parking lot ready for pick up but it still isn't driving right and when they (Schafer's own people) drove it back it lost power and the trans acted up on them. I now have a Jeep I am forced to make payments on that I can't drive that I paid extra for the extended warranty that was basically useless. But hey you guys were able to get my heated seats working...... I have contacted the dealer a few times trying to reach a manager and have left voicemails and even sent a message today to be contacted through the website and nothing. In total they had my Jeep for over half the time that I have owned it for repairs. I bought this dang thing with around 73k and it sits in my driveway with roughly 78k. Mind you I was never once offered to pay extra for a new transmission nor was a new transmission price even offered as an option to the warranty company. They used over $12k on my warranty to fix this transmission that still doesn't work. Do the right thing here and either buy it back or pay to have a new transmission put in it! Don't blame Hodges for all this or tell me to take this up with them I didn't take it there to be fixed I brought it back where I bought it from. I have also contacted the Michigan SOS and filed a complaint. I forgot to add when I asked the service department why they didn’t just put in a new transmission after the first couple I was told that they couldn’t find any. I then actually went online for 2 minutes and found a new one and actually sent the link in a text message to your service department. And yes I still have the text messages. Also the service department already tried to get you to buy this back and left the notes on my last copy of paperwork on how much a new transmission was and what the buy back price would be. Kim is the best!!! We were interested in a used van but live an hour and a half from Pinconning. We called anyways and were put in touch with Kim Bartys. Honesty and outstanding customer service I saw a truck online but it was 2,000 miles away and I was hesitant to purchase site unseen. The pictures look good and description was accurate. The salesperson Kim went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed to make a decision prior to making travel arrangements. She made a video and uploaded to YouTube. She then had the vehicle washed and uploaded a second video with extreme detail. It was not quite what I was looking for and I did not make the purchase. But a big thank you to Kim for the outstanding customer service and for going way out of her way to make sure I would be satisfied. More

Stellar experience with a real sales professional I was shopping for a used vehicle on the Schafer Chevrolet website and emailed salesperson Kim Bartys at 8:15 pm on a Sunday night. Imagine my surpris I was shopping for a used vehicle on the Schafer Chevrolet website and emailed salesperson Kim Bartys at 8:15 pm on a Sunday night. Imagine my surprise when she replied about 30 minutes later with an offer to help. Since the dealership was over three hours from my home in Ohio, Kim checked availability of the car I was interested in and advised within minutes. The following morning, she braved the cold and shot more than 15 minutes of detailed video to give me a thorough look at the condition of the vehicle that I reviewed from the comfort of my own home. Kim really went over the top to be sure I had all the information I needed in a way that made it as easy as possible for me to make a decision. I didn’t expect that. By the time our paths crossed, I’d been looking for nearly a week. Kim was the only salesperson I dealt with who did exactly what she said she would do and never stopped working on my behalf. She was a genuine joy to work with and I’d highly recommend Kim Bartys to anyone who values a real professional with a personal touch. More

Very honest and very satisfying. I was looking for a truck and seen a couple online at Schafer's. I decided to make the 100 mile, one way trip to Schafer's with my brother. Shortly after we arrived and started looking over the specific trucks I was interested in we were very kindly greeted by their saleswoman, Kim Bartys. She gave us a list of their inventory which included all the pertinent information a buyer would need, and told us we find one that we would like to take for a test drive to come and see her inside the office. After finding a few....went inside and met with Kim. She was very honest about the way Schafer handles their inventory and their prices. As a buyer I felt very comfortable with purchasing a vehicle from them. (Which I eventually did) Kim treated us like a best friend....I would highly recommend to anyone looking a used vehicle to go to Schafer's and see Kim Bartys....she will definitely help with what a person looking for in an honest and kindly manner!
