I purchased my Jeep Gladiator in December and this was the first time I had returned to the dealership. I returned to get my oil changed and tires rotated and balanced. When I entered, there was a servi the first time I had returned to the dealership. I returned to get my oil changed and tires rotated and balanced. When I entered, there was a service person who greeted me as I was leaving my jeep. He told me to go to the desk and let them know why I was there. I walked up and said, Hello. He did not acknowledge me for about 3 minutes. He finally said, give me a few minutes I can't figure out what is going on with the system. After a few minutes, he then said, what do you need? I said I had brought my jeep in for an oil change and tire rotate and balance. I told him I had purchased my jeep in December and this would be the first service under Jeep Wave. He said okay, we will get it done. He asked me for all my contact information. He told me to go to the waiting area to wait. I waited approximately 1 hour and 1/2 and was comfortable in the waiting room. He came and told me that my vehicle was ready. He did not explain anything and just handed me the paperwork and told me to go to the cashier. I handed her the paperwork and she checked me out. Once I met up with my husband, he looked at my wheels and noticed that the balancing was not done. I looked at the receipt and they had entered my contact information incorrectly (completely wrong) and also that they did not balance my wheels and tires. I had specifically asked about that and said I would pay separately for it. I called the dealership and apparently was on the phone with the same person who helped me. He was not very friendly and said not to worry about my contact information. I could just fix it when I returned. I said if they mailed anything out, it would not get to me. He said not to worry about it. He also said I could come back in to get my wheels balanced. I told him I did not have the time since I had already spent a few hours there this morning due to my work schedule. I also mentioned we were leaving town the next morning. He said okay, then bring it back when I could. He was not friendly or helpful at all. After thinking, I called back and asked for the service manager. I explained what happened to him and he said he was sorry for my inconvenience and corrected my contact information. He also asked me to bring my jeep back in and I again said, I did not have time and it should have been done correctly the first time. I had a great purchasing experience and was not happy with the service experience I had received. He told me to bring it back in when I had time. After this experience, it will be hard for me to recommend your service department to others. More
