Misrepresentation of services, rushed to sell a car, among other packages, lied about the maintenance. Sent a co worker there to buy a vehicle and she did, and is also having issues. My experience with Jerry Hunt Supercenter of Salisbury was not a pleasant one........ until the redemptive values of Hayden Hicks (Group President) & Brandon Padgette (Service Manager). My salesman was Jo was not a pleasant one........ until the redemptive values of Hayden Hicks (Group President) & Brandon Padgette (Service Manager). My salesman was Jonathan Branch, who I do not recommend working with. Long story short, the car I wanted was scheduled to be serviced, but Jonathan told me it was only the typical protocol stuff: new tires, oil change, testing battery & other functions, etc. I test drove it, paid for it, & was told it would be ready in two days. I received a call the day I was to p/u & was told the new axles just put in didn't fix the problem, & that they didn't know what was wrong & needed to troubleshoot. I was never told there was a problem & expressed my concern. I also had a rental car that was to be turned in, that was only covered by insurance through the turn in day. I asked Jonathan about the dealership covering the rental for longer. He had the audacity to tell me the dealership does not cover rentals, & that "it was determined there was an issue with the vehicle AFTER I purchased it", directly quoted. This was a complete lie! I was livid & horrified I had bought a lemon. My stepdad involved a lawyer, my family was so worried. I was finished dealing with Jonathan & thought a manager would care more about customer satisfaction. Boy, was I right! Hayden Hicks was kind, understanding, & values customer satisfaction. He covered the more than a week's additional rental car fees & made sure I was given daily communication of the car's status. Then, after I p/u the vehicle, I experienced poor battery issues. Jonathan showed me the pic of the battery testing "good" while being serviced at 97%, but he also referred me to Brandon from the service dept. Brandon clearly shared the same values as Hayden! He said their service dept was backed up, but he wanted this checked out ASAP. He wanted me to take it to a local shop for a full starter diagnostic, that would be paid for by the dealership. Even when I told the shop owner they should call the dealership to get payment over the phone, they were extremely apprehensive. But, I could hear the surprise in her voice when Brandon started to give payment info. In addition to the diagnostic, I ended up needing a new battery too, so the bill wasn't cheap. I & my family FINALLY felt relief that I had gotten a good vehicle, redeeming my confidence in JHS of Salisbury. Those two men are the only reason I'm giving 3 stars. I wish I'd been assigned a salesman from the get to, who cared more about customers than sales. I highly discourage anyone from working with Jonathan Branch. He will lie to your face to sell a car. Thank you to the excellent customer service efforts of Hayden & Brandon, & their dedication to customer satisfaction! More
