I was somewhat pleased with my car-buying experience. Kevin Hill did a great job—he was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. My issue lies more with the dealership’s sales process Kevin Hill did a great job—he was kind, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. My issue lies more with the dealership’s sales process than with Kevin personally. I was initially given a negotiated price for the vehicle I selected. However, when I received the paperwork detailing my trade-in and the final pricing, I was surprised to find several dealership add-ons totaling several thousand dollars—charges that had never been discussed with me before. I was told these add-ons were already installed and non-negotiable, leaving me with no real choice but to accept them if I wanted the car. In my opinion, the original price I was quoted should have included these add-ons. I felt misled and disappointed that the full cost wasn’t disclosed upfront. Transparency is key, and I would have appreciated it if the dealership had been honest about the total price from the beginning. That said, I did go through with the purchase and I’m very happy with my car—Mercedes makes an excellent product. But experiences like this can leave loyal customers feeling undervalued. Be upfront and honest. Your vehicles speak for themselves; there’s no need for tactics that erode trust. More
