Sent me off the lot with my vehicle, temp tag on front, old plate with expired tabs on back. Got pulled over.. Bolts to license plate were torqued down and damaged. They decided to let me leave instead of old plate with expired tabs on back. Got pulled over.. Bolts to license plate were torqued down and damaged. They decided to let me leave instead of fix it. ( they fixed it later) after driving down from Louisville… again to fix the following issue that was not even fixed but made worse after two weeks of them having my car. Keep in mind, I was in a major car accident and on crutches and was barely mobile when I first bought the car. I also live in Louisville. Once off lot, I noticed the windows, windshield, body of car was dirty and “gritty” feeling. The sales rep said they didn’t have time to detail when I bought it. Figured it was dirt. Washed car, didn’t come off. I then noticed masking tape, over spray on trim, over spray all over tire and realized said “grit” and dirt was actually paint over spray. Looking further, I realized that there was also dust in the paint and bubbles from where the contracted body shop painted the bumper. I knew there was damage to the front and rear of vehicle before I bought I, because I saw the appraiser photos before it fully listed. So I know they sent it to shop for repair…. Only it wasn’t repaired or what any reasonable person would deem unprofessional. It was horrible. They offered to buff out the over spray and I was talked into letting them fix the bumper paint due to bubbles all over the bumper. This is after I drove down to Paris, spent 7 hours waiting for my vehicle to be done. They had my car two weeksss. I drive down again to pick it up, not only is the paint almost the same, the entire sides of my car were sprayed over and there are bubbles and small paint drips from dust spots in paint all over the vehicle. Further insult to injury, I dropped my car off with the interior clean. I picked up the car and interior was very dirty and there was mud all over both floor mats and mud spots from hands on the driver door. They returned the car extremely dirty inside. ( I have pics) The problem is, they acknowledged the damage was from their body shop to begin with, and it wasn’t fixed and further damage was made, which they deny because it wasn't on the body shop invoice ( it was 100% done by them). There is fresh paint build up on rear window which they claim was "compound from waxing" which they didn't do. Its paint...... Myself and witnesses have seen me inspect the vehicle thoroughly prior to this last visit and there was not any of the issues I’m explaining outside of the front bumper and Overspray. All paint work was done recent and by this body shop. I have also received 2 professional opinions on this. No other paint work was done on this vehicle prior to Dan Cummins. There wasn’t a reason. THEY DIDN”T EVEN FULLY FIX THE INITIAL PROBLEM. They offered to take car back but I’m over a month with the car and I’ve already spent over 10 hours on this issue, close to 9000 in payments toward car already and my credit has already take a hit from the purchase, so I won’t get same rate. So the only person really taking a loss is the customer…. When the only thing the dealership has to do is hold the body shop accountable for the paint work. They say they are trying to work with me but only offering solutions that save THEM money…. And not fixing the problem that is their fault / body shops to begin with. Absolutely unprofessional. Shoddy cover up and lack of accountability and oversight within this company. They admitted that they didn’t see the vehicle between selling it to me and the body shop or they would have fixed it. Which …. They attempted to. But the body shop was again unsuccessful. Now they’re just telling me that I’m stuck. I will say that the travis and the detail shop that was coordinating repair, was helpful and wanted to help. Unfortunately he was out of town when I picked up. Hence lack of oversight and lack of accountability at the dealership. 2 weeks of them with my vehicle and no resolve… but actually a w More
