I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the vehicle purchased from your dealership on August 17, 2024, and the subsequent service I have received. Here are the details of the issues: Pur the vehicle purchased from your dealership on August 17, 2024, and the subsequent service I have received. Here are the details of the issues: Purchase Details: Date of Purchase: August 17, 2024 Mileage at Purchase: 50 miles Vehicle Problems: Key Fobs: Malfunction persists even after battery replacement. Air Conditioning: Inconsistent operation, frequently turning off and on. Dashboard: Electrical issues with intermittent flickering, posing a safety risk while driving. Door Trim: Sharp edges have resulted in physical injury to myself and my child. Window Rubber Seal: Detaching, likely due to improper installation or heat exposure. Service Experience: There has been a significant delay in addressing these issues; it has been three weeks since my initial complaint, and I have yet to receive adequate support or a resolution. Despite multiple contacts, including a recent call where I was promised a callback to schedule service, there has been no follow-up. Previous Vehicle: We traded in a 2023 Ford Explorer with 15,000 miles, which had no such issues, for this problematic vehicle. Interaction with Ford Customer Relations: Ford's customer service has indicated that the level of service provided by your dealership is not up to standard. Request: Given the severity and multitude of these issues, I request the following actions be taken with immediate effect: Vehicle Buyback: Due to the ongoing problems and lack of resolution, I request that you initiate a buyback process for the vehicle or fix the issues. Temporary Transportation: Until this matter is resolved, or until Ford approves a rental, provision of a loaner vehicle is necessary. This experience has led to significant inconvenience and regret regarding my decision to purchase from Red McCombs Ford. I expect a swift response and resolution to restore some confidence in your brand and dealership. In the end they made everything right got us traded out for a brand new one and took care of us. More
