Gave quote for 16K service at over phone and then charged more than double when picked up. $170 for an oil change and $180 to change out a cabin filter replacement + a $51 “shop charge” to pad an already out more than double when picked up. $170 for an oil change and $180 to change out a cabin filter replacement + a $51 “shop charge” to pad an already outrageous labor rate of $199 per hour. Didn’t even do the 16K mile inspections. The worst was gaslighting my wife about the charges when she picked up the vehicle. We’ll get service elsewhere. Dealership would rather rip someone off for a couple hundred bucks than get repeat business. More

We have regular service completed at Gary Rome Hyundai (where we bought our 2020 Telluride) and last week during that service appointment, we were told the seal around our oil filter housing was failing a (where we bought our 2020 Telluride) and last week during that service appointment, we were told the seal around our oil filter housing was failing after the tech noticed some seepage. We were told this could only be fixed at Gary Rome Kia. We made a separate appointment, drove all the way down to Enfield to drop it off for the day - never received an update call - and called near the end of the day to be told there was no problem, that the 'seepage' seen by the Gary Rome Hyundai tech was actually just grease. We weren't charged anything but this really put a wrench in two days for us for absolutely no reason. More
