I am a return customer having bought my first Honda, an Accord, in 2004. BTW that car is still on the road with 285K miles! We were assisted with our purchase by Katy Meyer. When you go to the dealership, request her...she was awesome! My wife and I showed up after work to "start looking" at new cars. We had other manufactures in mind but we started at Honda because I had a good experience before. First we test drove an Accord LX, base model. Nice car. Then we drove the Accord EX...even nicer. Then my wife suggested the CRV just to see what it was like. Bad idea. It was a great ride too and now we don't know what we want. Now we are two hours in to our night. We finally sat with Katy as she started to put some numbers together on the Accord. Well then we switched to the CRV...and then we switched back...it was horrible. But Katy, ever so professional and polite, kept a smile on her face as we asked "can we test drive both of the vehicles again?" I know, we are a sales persons worst nightmare. But she ran to get the keys, had the cars brought back to the front so we could see them, we test drove both vehicles again and eventually settled on the CRV. More room. Same type of ride but the CRV has all-wheel drive too. Kevin Frank helped broker the deal and was also very polite to work with. But Katy hung in there the whole time, each change of our mind, each test drive...and then she had to deliver the car to us and show us how to work everything. All in all we left the dealer at 1015pm. We arrived at 530p. Katy even called 2 days later to make sure everything was good with our purchase and make sure we had no questions. She's very patient and explains the vehicles very well. She's knowledgeable of all the options and is there to help. She's a Saint and I'm glad we got her for a sales person! Thanks Katy!! More

Absolutely great experience buying a new 2014 Odyssey at Valley Honda! This is the first time I've purchased a non-GM new car (and I used to work for GM). I did so based on the people, facilities, and very Valley Honda! This is the first time I've purchased a non-GM new car (and I used to work for GM). I did so based on the people, facilities, and very apparent customer focus I saw there. I received a very fair new car price and trade-in offer, which even beat the deal at GM where I still get a supplier discount. Katy Meyer was absolutely great to work with. She had excellent knowledge of the vehicle, options, accessories (and how to operate everything!). She answered all our questions and made everything flow smooth. When we picked new vehicle up, she went over everything and even programmed our smart phones to work with the vehicle Bluetooth system before we left. I am absolutely hooked on Valley Honda. More

With having to purchase 2 autos in a short period of time, I called and spoke with Mohit Saini and he had Alicia Machen send out a brochure for the 2014 Honda CRV. I was replacing a 2004 Honda CRV (als time, I called and spoke with Mohit Saini and he had Alicia Machen send out a brochure for the 2014 Honda CRV. I was replacing a 2004 Honda CRV (also purchased from Valley Honda) after it was totaled in an accident. Alicia followed up and it took 2 visits to take the plunge and on February 8, I purchased the car. Alicia was very good at pointing out the differences between the models and giving me the information I needed to make a choice. Once again, Kurt Gonzalez helped out with the purchase of our 4th car from Valley Honda. On February 15, my husband and I brought our daughter into the dealership and she took test drives in different models with Alicia to decide on her Honda. We purchased a 2013 Honda Accord (it was a dealership owned auto, so we knew it was in great condition). Once again, we had Kurts help in the purchase. On February 28, when my son need to trade in his car, we made another trip to see Alicia and Kurt and all the great people at Valley Honda and purchased a 2014 Honda Civic. We know have 4 Honda's sitting on the driveway, a 2008 Odyssey, 2013 Accord, 2014 CRV and 2014 Civic. Guess you could say we are a Honda family. Being a CPA and having to purchase multiple autos during tax season is stressful but Valley Honda made it easy. We will see you in a few years to trade in the 2008 Odyssey, and we would rather drive to Aurora from Elk Grove Village to deal with Valley Honda. Great job! More

Great experience overall! I went to a few dealers I had shortlisted based on Internet reviews, to buy a Honda Civic. I went to Valley Honda first, and after visiting a few other dealerships, I realized I w shortlisted based on Internet reviews, to buy a Honda Civic. I went to Valley Honda first, and after visiting a few other dealerships, I realized I was getting the best deal here. I even got financing though my situation was tricky considering my visa status. The dealership as such is huge and very well maintained with lots of amenities for customers. The only downside I experienced was that I had to interact with multiple personnel due to varying shifts that did lead to a little miscommunication but that was dealt with quite professionally. Highly recommended. More

I recently purchased a new vehicle at Valley Honda in Aurora. I put it off as long as possible, not wanting to go through the exhausting haggle process. However, this was by far the easiest/painless vehicle purchase ever! Kudos to Katy Meyer, your sales consultant, who simplified and stream-lined the process with her straight-forward sales approach. She met me at the door and had the vehicle I was interested in ready and waiting. She took me on a test drive and through your state-of-the-art facility, all the while pointing out all the important features of the vehicle. She’s very knowledgeable and answered all questions thoroughly. She was quick and efficient – I was out the door with my new vehicle in less than two hours! She made sure I was set up and synced with all the new technology, patient the entire time – even though I kept her well past closing time. She followed up after the sale to make sure everything is perfect. I’m very impressed with your facility and your wonderful sales consultant – thanks, Katy!! More

If you are looking for a "good deal" with no hassle I would not recommend this dealer. We wanted to actually buy a car from this dealer as it was close to our home and if we need service it's co hassle I would not recommend this dealer. Issues we had: The Sales Department - we started shopping for a car, did our research, went and test drove the car, then back again - sales person we first worked with was unavailable, so we worked with another sales rep - who provided us with incorrect facts about the car. We then went back for a third time and at this point were ready to purchase the car, but yet again the two previous sales reps we worked with were unavailable and now we are on our third sales rep and second manager. We discussed price, then asked for an appraisal on our trade in, they came back with an insulting trade in value, as we had gone to CarMax and they were $1800 higher. We told the sales manager this was insulting and wondered if he would consider more for the trade in, at that point he said go to CarMax and get that, you won't get anything higher (we did at Honda of Joliet $2000 higher than their quote). We left and went to Honda of Joliet and purchased our vehicle, although it is now in the shop for an oil leak - we've had the car one week. SERVICE Dept - I brought my car that we've owned for one week to Valley Honda as it is close to our house. Immediately I was told that I didn't purchase the car from them, really? I'm well aware of that. Then he said too bad you didn't see the oil leak before you bought the car. Ok. Long story short I had to "beg" for a loaner - because I didn't purchase the car from that dealer and he told me they had to rip the engine apart to see where the leak was coming from. In summary, take the time to go to a dealer who wants to make a sale and actually will work with you. If you have a trade in - go to car max and get it appraised - they will give you a written quote and it was "free". More

My experience at Valley Honda was excellent. My Sales Consultant, Katy Meyer was extremely helpful and informative! She was always willing to go the extra mile. I gathered that she takes pride in her job, and that she was very knowledgeable about the business she represents. When it came time to negotiate, Katy was very patient, and did everything she could to keep the customer happy. I purchased the Honda Ridgeline, and Katy was more than willing to help familiarize me with the vehicle. My overall experience was a 10 out of 10. More

Katy Meyer is an excellent-competent sales consultant. I have purchased cars from Valley Honda before and will do so again. Katy knew my needs in a new car and made sure any questions I had were answered. There were no pressure sales tactics but a genuine interest in getting me the right vehicle. (I must admit, my heart was set on the CR-V). I love the vehicle. More importantly, there is no doubt that Valley Honda will provide great service on my new 2013 vehicle. A satisfied customer. More

This was a very busy dealership on a Saturday, but the short wait was easy considering comfortable facilities and friendly staff. The wait was also well worth it, once we were introduced to our sales rep, Katy. She was friendly, patient, and above all, quite knowledgable about the specs and features of all the models we were interested in. Our toughest decision came down to choosing the color. On the first visit Katy drove us to the inventory lot to view all the choices, and then on our second visit she arranged to have our final choices brought to the dealership for a side by side comparison. Without any pressure we made our purchase on the second visit and then Katy personally demonstrated all the accessories, including the syncing of both our phones with the car's Bluetooth. I have purchase quite a few cars in the past 40 years, but this experience was truly one of the best. Thank you, Katy! More
