I had been looking for a Mercedes SLK for my wife, across the country for several months. Being that the last ones were made in 2016, the fact that I wanted one with very low mileage in excellent condition, the country for several months. Being that the last ones were made in 2016, the fact that I wanted one with very low mileage in excellent condition, and a good price- I knew it would be a task and take time to find. Finally I found one at Mercedes Of Arcadia, down by Los Angeles, California, which had just come in the market when I found it. I called as soon as i found the listing and spoke with Katrin Bassenger, who ended up being my sales women for the remainder of the sale. We had some difficulty communicating by phone, but once I took a chance and flew there from several states away, Kat was great! The car was a very good deal and the dealership could have sold it out from under me before I got there, but Katrin physically held onto the keys so that would not happen. The day I got there Katrin even told me that she got in an argument with a colleague over giving her the keys, as another local customer was interested in test-driving and likely buying it; but she stood her ground, and also stood by honoring her agreement with me. Katrin was also very nice, and did a great job taking time to explain many of the features of the vehicle before I drove it off the lot that night. All in all, it was a great success and my wife is so happy with the beautiful Mercedes!
