We inquired about a used vehicle on their lot Friday 4/28. Kattorra Lewis and Kari Williams were both working with us. When we informed them we lived three hours from the dealership and would be making 4/28. Kattorra Lewis and Kari Williams were both working with us. When we informed them we lived three hours from the dealership and would be making the trip with our one-year-old, they assured us that they would hold the vehicle until our appointment time the next day. We received an offer sheet for cash purchase of vehicle, but were also contemplating a trade which required them to value the vehicle in person. Saturday morning, we confirmed appointment and were assured everything was good. We were told they would have the vehicle ready for us. When we arrived for our appointment, Ms. Williams was with another family and encouraged us to take the vehicle for an extended test drive and to lunch. When we came back to the dealership, we were informed the vehicle was sold the night before. The used car sales manager, Peyton Mosley, explained that business is done on a “first come first serve” basis, and while unfortunate it was a “simple miscommunication”.
