I traded in my vehicle on a Buick Encore. The 'check engine light' came on within 24 hours. Did some research on other defects and realized I had a lemon on my hands. Within 24 hours of makin The 'check engine light' came on within 24 hours. Did some research on other defects and realized I had a lemon on my hands. Within 24 hours of making the deal, I said I wanted to undo the deal. I made sure everything was time/date stamped, so that I could clearly show it was only 24 hours and I wanted my vehicle back. After 5 days of relentless pursuit of this dealership, I finally got my car and my deposit back. However, they kept my title. I am still awaiting the return of my title to my vehicle that I signed over to them in the deal. The state attorney's office has opened a case for me. Still waiting Carlisle Cadillac Buick GMC...I signed a POA regarding this deal, so that gives you leverage to sign to return my title to me... Don't stop fighting this dealership if you find yourself scammed...especially if you're a women. I was bullied by the service department and the general sales manager...it only made me fight harder. Oh, and they chose a warranty for me for $3k-some...that I never received documentation on nor did I have the option to pick what type of warranty I wanted. It was chosen for me by the finance person. More
