This place is racist & only looks to take advantage of people. I was called a "xxxxxx" over the phone by Zack from Car Choice at 5803 N 56th xx, Tampa, FL 33610. He was upset because I returned the vehicl people. I was called a "xxxxxx" over the phone by Zack from Car Choice at 5803 N 56th xx, Tampa, FL 33610. He was upset because I returned the vehicle he sold to me. Friday, 6/7/2024;Now I didn't have time to test drive it according to them because they were closing. So my test drive was me taking the vehicle that day. I don't have a problem with minor issues on a used car, even some upholstery. (Again, the purpose of me getting this vehicle doesn't require it to perfect but I don't want major issues). I told him I was gonna return it if it was major problems. Zack assured me that there weren't any major probs, (oil leaks, transmission, radiator)& that I could return it. I also think he didn't believe I was actually gonna buy it cash. Took the car off the lot & straight to the manufacturer dealership. Saturday, 6/8/2024 the dealership is inspecting, diagnosing the vehicle. Sunday, 6/9/2024 they're closed. Monday, 6/10/2024 the dealership tells me that what Zack assured me wasn't the issue, is an issue, BIG issue at that. So I contact Car Choice, Zack answers, (I know his voice), I ask to speak with the manager, (they try to screen the calls), he asks me what it pertains to. So I act like idk it's Zack & I say, "I need to speak with the manager in regards to returning this vehicle. The salesman who sold me the car Friday assured me that there were no major issues or any issues other than we discussed. He also assured me that there was no problem to return the vehicle.". I proceeded to explain what the manufacturer dealership told me. The paperwork Car Choice provided me with stated the odometer was 111,848, however upon speaking with the manufacturer dealership, they tell me the vehicle is actually 112,166. At that moment I was cut off, he tells me 1st that I can't return the vehicle. So I tell him that the salesman Zack told me I could, I also have a witness. He then says, "I can't help you with that", & then tries to rush me off the phone. So I ask him when is the manager going to be back, he tells me about 30mins. So I call back bout an hour later, (remember when I told you they screen calls?). This time, I call a different number I was given, Zack picks up. I ask for the manager, his response was, "xxxxxx, I told you...".that's when he caught himself. He then tried to backtrack. I told him I'll be up there. So 24mins later I pull up. Why this man start studdering? He knows he was caught & they have those phones that record the convo. Not only that, I have a witness who heard him because it was on speakerphone. Tuesday, 6/11/2024; Now, they're saying it's no issue to get my money back, minus $2500 because "they want to resale the vehicle". But I just paid for this 30point diagnostic, got all the info y'all need to fix the vehicle but they want to take $2500 more. They are using those vehicles as personal vehicles at times because obviously they don't have their own. All I'ma say is, go look at my Google review, Kelly Blue Book review, Better Business Bureau, the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, etc reviews. I've filed a claim with the State Attorney Generals office. I also called NFCU to dispute the charges. As far as communication with Car Choice & the manufacturer dealership, pictures of the vehicle & video of what the issues are with the vehicle, I have them. Posted on all those reviews.
